All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

Really disappointed that Rubio stunk it up tonight. He looked like the best candidate left at this point.

Either way, unlike most everyone else, he will be back in 4-8 years, so he has time to work on his one liners.

Rubio will be returning to his sandbox shortly.

Meanwhile, Fox News and CNN just called Illinois for Clinton.

I have to wonder - if Trump actually wins, does the republican party lose?

That is an interesting question - if Trump loses in November, will Rubio (or Cruz) run in 2020 as the "I told you so" candidate in 2020? I'd have said yes - Rubio had all the makings of a formidable candidate on paper, and I still maintain Romney should have chosen him as his running mate in 2012 - but this campaign seems to have shown he doesn't really have the political nous for a high profile national campaign.

So if Hillary is indicted, Trump will lose to her?
I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic, but this is still the way I see things going.

Unless the race is Sanders/Trump, I'm positive Trump will win the race, and the only way Clinton will lose the Democratic nomination at this point is if she's legally incapacitated or medically inadmissible.

Something tells me that anyone in the current GOP establishment who'd support that will be irrelevant within the next year.
If they tried that or any convention bullshit they'd alienate anybody who's actually in the party for the small government ideals instead of "darkies and homos can go to hell".

They can't risk losing dozens of voters like that.

I see no way Sanders can win the presidency. He has one talking point and manages to alienate minorities (which is a death sentence for Democrats). If this election was him vs. a Republican whose name isn't Trump, the voting trends would shift red from minorities.

Also any man who makes that many communist "gaffes" starts to look like he is having Freudian slips after a while. When you say People's Revolution over and over, people stop thinking you are making a mistake.
