All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

The only state that doesn't have any polling whatsoever is Montana. I'm thinking Cruz could win there since It's a pretty religious state and it's in the mid west.

Little Marco plays alone in his sandbox while Hilary brings a knife to a gun fight.

That seems like the kind of state Cruz could win, but on the other hand, it's not exactly gonna help.

If I was Cruz's campaign manager I'd tell him to stick to his guns in public, but in private to start preparing to campaign in 2020 after Trump loses to Hilary in the general. (Cruz is young, he can wait)

What amazes me about the Rubio run isn't just that he sunk to Trump's level and went down in flames in the span of a fortnight, but that he appears to have effectively Dan Quayle'd himself and his entire political career when he was supposed to be the future of the party. Even if he tries to fall back and keep his senate seat this year, Trump'll assuredly fund a SuperPAC to fatten the pockets of whoever runs against him.

Calling it now, Hillary will be President
You're seriously underestimating people's disgust with the establishment. It doesn't matter that Trump is every bit as establishment as Hillary herself, the fact is that there's enough people who perceive him as being an outsider to where reality is superseded.

Not to mention your, and everyone else's, underestimation of Trump's ability to poach his opponents positions and supporters. He's not going to stop doing that when he's running against Hillary just because she's a Democrat. And rather than a pivot from the right to the center like Romney in 2012, he'll keep hammering the points his die-harders care about the most, simultaneously attack Hillary in the areas her supporters care the most about from the left, and he won't even have to change his message that much from what he's been saying in the last year. He'll attack her from the left on healthcare, the left on military intervention, the right on terrorism, the left on labor, the right on immigration, the left on free trade, the left on campaign finance reform, the right on political correctness, and the left on lobbyists. Hillary won't have any defense for it the casual voters will buy, and any attempt she makes to go for the gutter will involve Trump bringing up shit no one else dares to speak about like Juanita Broadderick and Ricky Ray Rector.

Interesting tidbit: A reason Sanders won Michigan was strong Muslim support.

http://www.ibtimes.com/bernie-sande...litical-pundits-cant-quite-believe-it-2333030
Democrats in Dearborn, a city whose population is 40 percent Arab, voted overwhelmingly for Sanders over rival Hillary Clinton (59 percent to 39 percent). The subtext of pointing out this particular statistic is clear. How, the media wondered, could a predominantly Muslim group support a Jewish candidate?

As the results rolled in, television pundits like Lawrence O’Donnell and Chuck Todd marveled on MSNBC that Sanders was doing so well in Dearborn “despite” the large Arab-American population there. WNYC radio host Brian Lehrer tweeted that Sanders’ dominance in Dearborn was “the stat of the night,” lateradding “It’s official: Arab city feels the Jewish Bern.” Meanwhile, The Week dubbed it “just one more strange data point in an election overflowing with them.”

If it comes from a Republican, absolutely nobody voting for Hillary already is going to peel off because absolutely nobody gives a shit what Republicans have been saying about Hillary for over 20 fucking years, much less 20 year old shit related to Bill. If that was going to stick, the last 20 years of it would have already stuck.

That's the point. Trump isn't a Republican. He's a third party candidate running against a major party by running within. It's the primary source of his appeal.

No, I know your security is impregnable. I'm just making sure I can say 'I told you so' with impunity.
On this one point, possibly. If I couldn't take a mocking for spergery, I'd've left the country and joined the Islamic State a long time ago. But no one this go-around gets to say "I told you so" to anyone aside from the Prophet Cassandra.
