My favorite thing about Rubio cucking himself is that Augustus Sol Invictus is running against him for his Senate seat.

Invictus is fucking hilarious and crazy and this is the guy Rubio is now having to deal with.

Topped by the fact that Rubio said he wasn't going to run for a second term, and now has no choice but to make the walk of shame back to an election he's almost guaranteed to lose after receiving the cucking of a lifetime.

The only question now is which candidate a Trump-funded SuperPAC will actually back up on their way to Rubio's public execution. Seeing as how they can be funded anonymously, I'm wondering if Trump is actually cynical enough to fund the Invictus campaign and Alan-West a senate seat.

I'm not sure Trump would do this, but if he did, I can't see why he'd support a screaming nutbar like Sol Invictus. He'd choose one of his local mates from the Mar-a-Lago club.

That was more wishful thinking on my part because I find the whole idea hilarious, but going out of his way to fuck Rubio is absolutely something Trump'll do. Richard Nixon did exactly this kind of shit to the Boston Navy Yard after Massachusetts voted for McGovern in '72, and Trump is so petty he can't let an insult about the size of his fingers go.

It actually wouldn't surprise me at all if Trump donated a bit of cash to Sol Invictus just to spite Rubio.

He's obviously not going to win, Invictus is a lunatic. Granted he's a pretty cool lunatic I've actually had a talk with the guy.

Ususaly I'd agree, but the polls are quite close in Ohio. It could be enough.

I almost want to cry when Richard Nixon is a model of dignity compared not just to Drumpf but to every single candidate in this race other than Bernie Sanders.

Let's say Kasich wins Ohio. Trump will still win in Florida and North Carolina, probably in Missouri and Illinois too. It'll be another speedbump in Trump's path. Nobody's going to reconsider voting for Trump because Kasich beat him in Ohio.

The only likely result of a Kasich win in Ohio is that Kasich won't drop out, making it still harder for the anybody-but-Trump vote to coalesce.

I was at an antique market the other day and they had a Nixon campaign button.

Now that I know there's a bunch of Nixon campaign crap on ebay cheap enough to wear I've been increasingly considering getting something for now through November.

Slightly off topic, but Trump, from what friends have told me, really, really wants to pick a black running mate. From my own personal analysis, it makes sense. The only way he can win is by maintaining support from disaffected white voters from the right, center, and center-left, while simultaneously re-targeting his message towards inner-city black voters; essentially, he'll be using the same anti-illegal immigration arguments he is now, emphasizing the issue of unemployment. Expect to hear a lot of noise about Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Peter Kirsanow, or someone else like that.
