It'll be interesting to see if cruz outperforms on Tuesday since he has a harder time with moderates. Rubio's collapse could help him, Donald is still 15 points ahead though.

I've always hated the motherfucker, but I never took him seriously because I thought even if he actually did run this time his appeal was primarily based on nativism and the neo-reactionaries.

I admit, I was wrong. Not about the neo-reactionaries. They still like Trump, but they're not the main flank of his appeal. Trump's appeal has been significantly broader than I expected, and is based on a number of factors. There are those who like that we finally have a candidate who doesn't castrate and PC his language in an effort to appeal to the broadest possible audience and as a means of sticking it to the SJWs. Others want to stick it to K Street, so a candidate who's already wealthy and famous charms them the most. Many on both sides just got sick of the establishment, but Clinton's been able to bury Bernie Sanders because he's not a celebrity and Bush failed because Trump is more famous than all the other candidates put together aside from Clinton.

Really, putting it down like this, I should be an ideal Trump supporter. All those planks appeal to me, I despise Hillary Clinton, I want to stick it to SJWs any way I can, the BLM crowd looks to me like a bunch of retarded puppets, I want to see the establishment shaken up in a serious fashion, and I'm a disaffected white millennial.

The problem is Trump himself. Even if he wasn't a flip-flopper, he's a pathological liar, a massive narcissist, a greedy egomaniac, utterly incompetent with business and money, exceptionally stupid, and has an outright disgusting relationship with numerous figures of violence and greed. I've yet to see anyone refute these points, and have seen extensive records which span decades that only do more to confirm the above. And this is not about partisanship, since I see most of these same personality defects in Hillary Clinton, and want her in office just as little as I want Trump.

I won't argue with you at all here. The way the Democrats have behaved this cycle is utterly contemptible. If anyone else was the Republican nominee this year, I'd take them in a heartbeat over Clinton due to her reprehensible moral character alone.

As things stand now, I'll just use the ballot as toilet paper.

I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't believe the US has any obligation to follow international law. What with America coming first and the UN being controlled by SJW cucks.

"Race" is a factor, too, but IMNSHO income is a bigger one.
 
This is a common theme I see among the left nowadays, that the people who support the other guy are too stupid or evil to know what’s best for them. Anyone who disagrees with you is so obviously and comically wrong that there’s no point in engaging with them.

For a politician, this is absolutely ruinous. It’s their job to convince the other side of the merits of your arguments. Screaming at a roomful of Trump supporters "You're literally voting for Hitler, you idiots!" is not going to win any converts. When you write off a third of the voters as not worth engaging, you give your opponent a huge gift. It makes you appear out of touch and unsympathetic to anyone who isn’t in your circle. Shame doesn't work as a weapon when your target's plan is to stand on a pedestal with both middle fingers raised.

Stupid fucker just killed his campaign. What the hell was the point of this anyway? It's not not that hard to prove you're more liberal than Hillary Clinton.
 
I'm trying to predict who will win Michigan.

1) Trump will be victorious (polls before the last debate gave him 15-20 point leads)- Most likely
2) Cruz will gather Rubio support, close the gap and beat trump by a few points- Somewhat likely
3) A sinlge poll released after the debate gave Kasick a two point lead. He'll win by a tiny margin. - Unlikely

It'll be any one of those.

Fivethirtyeight gives Trump 93% of winning. IMO they are actually conservative about their probabilities and I don't remember them ever calling anything 90%+ wrong (even though they've done it way more than 10 times).

Intresting. I have a theory that it'll be a closer race than what's predicted. I think the ongoing mess that is the rubio campaign is collapsing and will benefit cruz.
 
Rubio's campaign may be collapsing but I think some of his supporters might just give up and stop participating in primaries. Not because their main loyalty was to Rubio as a person, but he's basically become by default the figurehead for establishment Republicans. Of course they could go to Kasich, but his campaign is looking just as doomed.

He's trying to reach out to non-white voters. But even if it wasn't already too late to do that, this is not at all the case he should've made.
