I don't get HOW you can make such big mistakes. There are SEVERAL people working on this game and no one ever noticed this??
My guess is: they noticed this but were to lazy/dumb to change it.

Either EA pushed the whip to make the release or they generally just don't give a shit. A lot of developers oddly seem to think that gamers will stick with them no matter what shit they pump out. While this might have been true a few years ago, now I think gamers are more fickle today. There are just too many options and there have been too many times have people been fucked over by buying a $60 product that is not representative of what was put out. Not to mention there is a lot of friction between the gaming press and their audience, which gets transferred to developers.

One positive is that they aren't hiding it. If they are trying to hide it, they're doing a really bad job or its way worse than the trailers reveal. I just think they aren't (or can't) hide it. Still, dropping $60 on something that has so many errors in promotional material (which should be perfect) doesn't seem like a good idea. Even if EA games never go on sale.

Things aren't looking good for the multiplayer.

£80 is about a hundred U.S dollars, Looks like EA is really trying to bleed the game for every penny it can get.

Hahaha, it will be ME 3 multiplayer all over again. Here's whats going to happen:

-Multiplayer will be pretty fun on release, no real reason to buy packs.

-Newer and newer stuff is introduced, gradually. Still don't need to buy packs, but the temptation is there

-'New enemies' are introduced, which are basically bullet sponges. You don't need to buy things, but it gets harder to do it without buying the packs

-Tons of items and classes are released, making it harder to get what you want/need for your build

-Eventually, player tactics and strategies are nerfed, along with older equipment. Enemies slowly get buffed, both indirectly and directly. Harder enemies introduced as well. It becomes difficult/next to impossible to do well on high difficulties (which are necessary for getting currency to buy rare crates for the best stuff) without getting the best weapons, necessitating crate buying

EA doesn't care at all. It definitely seems like they're milking it. If you really cared about the quality of your product you'd never release promo trailers like they did. I'm not talking about shitty animations (can't really fix that without blatantly lying) but the gun being backwards, punching air, the broken wrist. All those.

It just shows a lack of care to me. I find it hard to be optimistic

Squad trailer released.

We're essentially getting a Fallout 4 with Technomancer's graphics.

Pros:
The graphics are great

Cons:
Choices are linear (TWO CHOICE SYSTEM)
The animation is absolute garbage (Seriously, their mouths don't even follow the dialogue)
The emotionless faces are endless
Most of the characters are shameless rehashes of old characters
etc etc

Why have teams dedicated to animation and modeling if they can't do it right?

A couple leaks of customization.

It's moreso due to just HOW rushed they are to finish it. They probably have one animator doing all of the cutscenes right now because the previous one left and he needs to make 30 animations in a day, so he doesn't notice one of the guns is backwards or is floating off a character's body. We've heard reports that Bioware is actually a very hostile workplace right now and it's bleeding developers constantly.

There are examples of this in ME1-3 but it mostly amounted to things like guns appearing in character's hands that weren't there before. Here it's much worse.

This looks like ME3, graphics wise. :/ And I fucking hate the nüBioware "three moods/styles of dialogue" choice system. Just leads to players wanting to match colors/moods consistently.

This looks like someone took a photo of some cheap Star Wars knock off figures on a desk, also someone holding an invisible gun, and someone with their hands in their non existent pockets.

You forgot the most critical step:

- Every single patch will be designed to nerf farming methodologies and mitigate exploits that allow comparatively easy wins. Any defensible location (Firebase White's infamous desk counters, Firebase Hydra's Elevator Hall of Doom, Firebase Rio's Lolbox) will be mitigated or removed. Players will get nothing in return. No bugs will ever be fixed. No underpowered classes will ever get love.

If it is as bad as they say, yes. Bioware is done. You cannot overcome writing that awful, which was pretty much Bioware's only strength. And its not like Bioware was itself. Pretty much everyone who did any good there is gone. So its just a shell anyway. Sell Mass Effect to CD Projekt, they can do something with it.

"Above is what I typed out as I played the sections up until the point at which EA say we may reveal/discuss no more until our review."

Like the animations, these are what EA is letting them see. These are the first impressions. If its this terrible, how terrible is the stuff after it? I guess it would look even worse if EA just held everything until release day. But holy shit, if the first couple of hours are like that, why would one expect anything different? I don't really recall any games that started off being terrible (writing wise) that ever picked up into something good.

bioware could sell nigger turds in a box and they'd have enough stupid fans clamoring for more because of the brand name and/or intersectional representation

Deadly premonition, buddy.

Honestly, saw this coming. Bioware has sucked forever now and N. K. Jemisin being a sperg SJW garbage person was already going to make it unbearable in story. Looks like another corpse for EA to chuck into the pit.

First review is up and amazingly it sounds even worse than we thought. Like disaster bad not merely mediocre like DAI.

Didn't RPS orgasm itself over DA:I?
I'm really confused by how they could love that game even though ME:A seems to have some of the same issues.
For example, this is from the review:
"Within seconds you’re apparently the Chosen One, a Pathfinder, which means someone who can look at a planet and say, “Yes, I think people might be able to live here.” Er?"

Doesn't DA:I literally have the same issue? Within minutes your thrust into not only a leadership role, but also into the role of a fucking religious icon. Granted, this issue with the Pathfinder might be more jarring for the intelligent folks over at RPS because your hand doesn't glow in ME:A. How can you be a leader without a glowing green hand you got by accident after all? The glowing hand made the Inquisitor super special because that meant he was qualified to lead an entire army of the faithful. All the Pathfinder has is a really big issue with being a manlet. No green hand to lead with.
