This suggests that Danny possesses a level of integrity. He often engages in political pandering and has been criticized for plagiarism, particularly when he favors certain works. For example, regarding Daredevil Season 3, he drew parallels between Kingpin and Trump than brush it off. Additionally, he has expressed outrage over plagiarism in Batman and The Witcher, yet his own writing appears to have directly copied settings and lines from the Theft video game series and Dune. As for Midnight Edge, he is someone who would have his own thread if he weren’t so boring. That’s the guy who, for years, has been pandering for and damage controlling for the likes of David Zaslav and James Gunn for being based and anti-Woke. DC got more political under David Zaslav and James Gunn than the MCU when She-Hulk came out.
I like danny. I haven't read the books but I think he's pretty on the ball with his commentary and analysis. I don't really see the issue beyond his love life. (And he hasn't really sperged or drawn attention to it like other lol cows.) I think people just don't care for his look and presentation

The one thing I'll admit he's wrong on is his assblasting about Lincoln and the civil war, but I see his point about it being the start of Presidents wielding more and more power.

Disney's Punisher too.
oh god
when are the government office and political commentary assassinations because they were secretly selling soap drugs or something?
and not a single one will be black or have a black person working for them that doesn't betray them

This is why I think new SM movie's gonna be a total mess. Punisher just doesn't fit in that specific world in which all the MCU main characters have Whedonish personalities.

Literally the most believable part of the MCU.
I dunno, in the part of Black Widow that happened just after Civil War she mentioned him having a Triple Bypass, and that was like 20 years ago in universe..Ross should have fallen over at some point during the blip.

Is this a holdover from the Netflix show(s)? I never watched those. I think the season's been pretty good, or at least a marked improvement over the first which was all over the place in terms of quality.

Yeah. She was better in the Netflix show. Very phone-in ish performance here. Especially since she can actually act.

The only good parts are what's happening with Gandolfini's kid. Even. If the writing is shit. He's the only one that's interesting so far.

So, apparently Marvel are putting new ending additions to re-releases of Endgame, so it can be tied into Doomsday.

If it counts into the box office of the original release and they run it as marketing... It'll be lol. MCU sloppers are gonna go wild praising it.

Should release day and date on Disney+ maybe I'll rewatch one of the worst MCU movies.

People are watching.

I'm in a book club IRL, and the scope doesn't include comic book stuff, but multiple people in it are watching it and talking about it.

It's ok for background noise, even when action happens, I only found myself rewinding once otherwise it's just a glance on the screen and back to other shit. Most of the action is very lacking.

I'm watching it. It's strange, and feels not a little like a bunch of current year allegories all smashed into each other via freight-train impact. Very little daredevil. Gone are the days of the action from the netflix series.

Yeah it's an absolute shame. These 5 or 6 episodes I don't remember how many came out could have been condensed into 2 or 3. A lot of repetition.

Another thing that bothers me is the "realism" they've added of him grunting and gasping when the action is done. Like bitch... You seem out of shape.

The Netflix show made him seem human, and every fight left him beaten to shit but he kept going until he was the last one standing. This one doesn't have the choreography or writing. That old show wasn't perfect, but it was leagues above this stuff.

This latest episode spent like 2 or 3 minutes on just the therapist character yapping about what Muse did to her and acting retarded with Fisks' henchman. It's like there's a mandate that boring, pointless shit needs to make it into every episode and we need to spend more time in each script on it.

I'll admit, I'm probably just forgetting the more mid parts and focusing on the better moments. The one thing I will stick to though is that, whatever the quality, the second season has a more unified vision. Whether or not that matters when the writing is like it is remains to be seen.

I really do hope they bring back Ultron someday, if only for the 1 in a billion Hail Mary chance that I get to see...

...THEM on screen. Hopefully post-Secret Wars reboot. I grew up watching this movie like it was gospel. Wasting Ultron in the 2nd Avengers film was such weak sauce, he's supposed to be a Thanos tier extinction level threat and they defeat him by blowing up Totally-Not-Kosovo? Gay.

Why do they have a hot dog vendor and why is that person on the front of the box? Is it some kind of cover up for a surprise character?
Hot Dog Vendor is one of those z-list silver age villains they try bringing back to be "wacky"

Jesus fucking Christ.... this is clearly pandering to millenial women.
"DERP! EVERY WOMAN I KNOW GOES TO THERAPY 3 TIMES PER WEEK SO INCLUDING A THERAPY SESSION IN THIS SHOW WILL MAKE IT RELATABLE!"

When I think of the so-called M-SHE-U, this is the kind of shit that pisses me off the most.
I like female leads kicking ass, I grew up on Cynthia Rothrock and Michelle Yeoh movies, that's not the issue.
The issue is this kind of writing which appeals to no man ever, it's designed to pander to women who will never watch a show about a dude going around the city and beating up thugs.
This is what you get when you stack half of Hollywood with nepo babies who grew up with trust funds and went to Princeton and Yale.

It was really funny to watch Kingpin crush everyone like flies.
Overall good season. Way better than the 1st season for sure. It is still not as good as the Netflix show but I really enjoyed it.

Reminder that this guy was beaten by Echo after he begged for a chance to lick her pussy.
