Not to defend this fucking faggot but he was talking about the heavy handed use of Fisk = Trump as far back as Season 3 of the Netflix show.

This suggests that Danny possesses a level of integrity. He often engages in political pandering and has been criticized for plagiarism, particularly when he favors certain works. For example, regarding Daredevil Season 3, he drew parallels between Kingpin and Trump than brush it off. Additionally, he has expressed outrage over plagiarism in Batman and The Witcher, yet his own writing appears to have directly copied settings and lines from the Theft video game series and Dune. As for Midnight Edge, he is someone who would have his own thread if he weren’t so boring. That’s the guy who, for years, has been pandering for and damage controlling for the likes of David Zaslav and James Gunn for being based and anti-Woke. DC got more political under David Zaslav and James Gunn than the MCU when She-Hulk came out.

Just looking up some of the internal test screenings for Doomsday, they're trying to gas this film up; we are practically on Jupiter. Outside of the very narrow scope of these people, my nerd friends have not even once hinted at or mentioned this film. Same for Spider-Man, heard no one mentioned it. I only knew about the trailer from a retweet. I kid you not, they're going to put 500 million into the advertising for this film. You can literally make half a dozen small budget films with that. Fuck, K-pop demon hunters cost 120 million (same as Mario), both films made over a billion on merch, subs etc. This film will need to make about 2.4 billion to fucking break even, insanity.

Doomsday indeed.

I prefer Abomination's Incredible Hulk look over the later MCU installments recreating his look from the comics and cartoons. I do respect Tim Roth for agreeing to reprise the role though, unlike Ed Norton, who was too cheap to do so. You don't hear Lou Ferrigno and JB Blanc complaining about the same shite, do you... Well, perhaps that weren't the perfect comparison, but... er... someone'll get it.

Was Norton even asked?
I thought he was blacklisted from Marvel movies after fucking with Incredible Hulk to an insane level.
To be fair, that was Universal so maybe Disney doesn't have him blacklisted but still, he's a nightmare to work with and he never follows the script, that's why we almost never see him in anything anymore, nobody wants to work with him.

Norton has a fascinating ego. He is a very talented man who didn't realize that after a certain point, his coworker will get tired of punching the wall after every interaction. A 10/10 talent whose ego made people decide that a 6/10 that follows instructions is a better choice. I miss seeing him but I understand not wanting to put up with that.

I think. I mean, I heard that Norton might have ducked out of Avengers Assemble, but yeah, maybe there's more to it.

This new daredevil show is trash. Jessica Jones shows up lacking her powers and the acting is just abysmal. Gandolfini kid is trying to have panic attacks like his daddy but then whimpers like a Redditor.

Norton had his ideas for the bull/banner bullshit and fought Feige every step of the way. Nothing beats Bana Hulk though.

So, apparently Marvel are putting new ending additions to re-releases of Endgame, so it can be tied into Doomsday.

Wonder when we'll start getting cosmetic outfit DLC for films...

I was just thinking how odd it is that as far as I can tell no one is watching this series. I've heard no discussion of it anywhere.

Aren't they happy that the entirety of the "Modern Audience" watches every episode.

Marvel decided to spoil every cameo and surprise, so there's not much hype on social media. It's a big improvement over the first season, but if you've ever watched the Netflix show or the first season of Born Again you pretty much know what to expect.

People are watching.

I'm in a book club IRL, and the scope doesn't include comic book stuff, but multiple people in it are watching it and talking about it.

I'm watching it. It's strange, and feels not a little like a bunch of current year allegories all smashed into each other via freight-train impact. Very little daredevil. Gone are the days of the action from the netflix series.

The action is good by MCU standards, but some of the grit is missing. We've yet to see anything as visceral as Matt and Fisk's showdown in season 3 of the original show.
