Nobody cares about Thor's child, or Cap's child, or anyone's child or their child replacement (Riri, Clint's daughter, whatever).
Reminds me of that Brian Posehn bit about the Star Wars prequels just being a slideshow of Vader and Boba Fet's baby pictures.

That said, actual traditional nuclear family shit is a step in the right direction compared to gay retarded found family bullshit. Gonna be a hell of a SIKE when all the white fathers of white children get jobbed offscreen before the cold open to make room for fuckin hulkling and wiccan tongue kissing or something comparably gay.

Wasn't it reported years ago Chris Hemsworth could no longer do action roles?
Has he ever done anything that wasn't an action role?

The question is if they'll bring back Jane Foster to take a mulligan on the Lady Thor arc or if they'll introduce Beta Ray Bill as his replacement.
Please don't speak this into being, I'm running out of favorite characters they haven't fucked up.

beta ray bill looks like a horse
disney has bought a lot of companies
hasbro made the horse-centric show "my little pony friendship is magic"
Wait, he's supposed to be a horse? I always thought he was supposed to resemble a lizard. Granted, I'm not too familiar with the character other than the fact that he's closely associated with Thor, but still...

iirc he's an alien who looks horse-ish
He's basically a Halo Spartan designed to protect his race from Galactus but for some reason he's the only one that looks like that. He's not meant to be a horse but readers started calling him Thorse and it stuck.

Just read Stormbreaker and Godhunter, they're based and like ten issues altogether, it only takes an afternoon.

With comics, no matter what, everything expects you to have read issues 23-45 and 60-78, crossovers: Amazing War and Dark Legion, spin-off issues as well as entire different titles that reference some important event. There is no way to have the full context unless you read hard enough to make it a job as opposed to a hobby.
I just read the whole of Immortal Hulk in the past few days. It's really good, I recommend it thoroughly, though I'll say the first half is a lot stronger than the second half. Warning: It's quite pozzed. A lot of lefty talking points, climate change, white privilege, etc. One prominent character is a tranny, and her transness makes her resistant to a mind-manipulation scheme, which is crucial to help the good guys save the day. Still, good book, read it if you can.
BUT I DIGRESS!
I read the omnibus, which contains some tie ins to events. One of them is for Absolute Carnage, in which, completely unexplained in the omnibus, Bruce Banner and the many Hulk personalities are somehow talking in a dark room with someone we don't see until the end. It turns out it's Venom, and they're in Banner's head, and they "welcome" Venom to be one of the members of Banner's system. So how did we get here? What repercussions will it have? Will Venom factor into the story from now on, since he's inside Banner's head too?
So I speed read Absolute Carnage (which is Absolute Shit, by the way), and what happens is at some point Banner is helping with some machine, the bad guy shows up, and Venom jumps to him since Hulk is a stronger host and will fare better against the bad guy. The tie-in happens pretty much between panels, as Banner's mind debates if it should accept Venom's possession or not.
Then it has zero effect, as Venom is ripped out of Banner immediately.

What the fuck was the point of even tying into this event? There was absolutely no reason to have Banner there at all, could have been any smart guy working on the machine. Of course, the point is getting someone who's buying a good book to buy a bad book, for the complete story. The series has several mentions of Hulk going out and having offscreen adventures, which actually happen in like the Fantastic Four book and shit like that. I checked those things too, and they also are completely irrelevant. More tricks to get people to waste money, see if they get hooked to the F4 book (they won't, because it was Slott, so it was bad).

I ramble, but yes, this illustrates your point. A good book takes stupid detours or lays little traps to make you go into tangents in other books, that make zero difference to the actual story, and if they do, they just make it worse. Terrible thing to do to your costumers.

I read some of Immortal Hulk because what I'd seen of it looked cool, but I dropped it at this page. I'd seen enough.

Yup! Labyrinthine! Hulk, Climate, Troon, Privilege, Venom, Carnage, Banner, MACHINE!!!!!! Good stories have unnecessary things placed into them like gravel in soup and end up making everything worse for it. It might still be good but it has GRAVEL IN IT which hurts the experience.

Some of the gravel:

It makes the story worse! More bloated, more unfocused, MORE DISTRACTED! "Hulk is in his villain arc! But he still takes time to support trans rights and crossover with Venom!!"

Ok, you recommended a story, here is my turn: The Switch: Electricia from Dynamite Entertainment. Might be a bit too "GRRL POWER!" for some but there is a lot of nuance in every character and there is a Centrist approach to politics as well as spoofing geopolitics by turning the ghost of Ronald Reagan into a superhero and Putin into a supervillain (so you do not have to take it too seriously). Give it a read.

Has he ever done anything that wasn't an action role?
rush, but honestly he's not a good actor. none of the australians are which is why they were cast in the late 2000s/early 2010s for action roles instead. american acting talent got destroyed like the factories which is why they outsourced to international people like the british and aussies and other countries, look at your acting stable under 50, its a lot less classic american than it was in the 90s. the DC universe had 2/3rds of the trinity not even played by americans. a lot of the black films seem to cast non-americans for their woke films too. i don't think there was a single american in the 300 films,

wow way to piss that down your leg
I'm not really into non-Eddie hosts for the symbiote but holy shit of all the characters you could do something interesting with Banner should be at least a miniseries of just the symbiote triggering every Hulk you can come up with and all the different reactions

You picked one of the worst examples to make your point. If you want to catch up with Dragonball, here's what you need to do:

Read Dragon Ball up through the end of the Saiya-jin saga.
Watch the anime only tv special DBZ Special (Bardock - The Father of Goku)
Read the Freiza saga.
Watch the anime only films Cooler's Revenge and Cooler's Return
Watch the anime only tv special DBZ Special (The History of Trunks)
Read the Cell saga.
Watch the anime only films Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly - Second Coming & Bio-Broly.
Read the Buu saga (BUT FOR GOODNESS SAKE DON'T READ THE LAST TWO CHAPTERS!).
Watch Dragon Ball Daima.
Watch Dragon Ball GT
Read Dragon Ball Super
Now, and only now, you may read the last two chapters of the original Dragon Ball.
But it's still DB alone. I don't have to jmp into a random Bleach or One Piece volume to know what's going on.

There is no verification for this just yet and it is just a rumor. But a small reporter who covers Marvel and the MCU tweeted this out tonight about a rumor surrounding plans for Doomsday.

Mind you, Tom Holland has already been announced to appear and there has been no reports of Tobey Maguire reprising his role as Spider-Man. However, considering that no one can figure out if Ryan Reynolds is appearing as Deadpool it could mean they are going this route and are just keeping a lid on a few of the names.

The Disk Wars Avengers anime did something similar, where Hulk was possessed by the Venom symbiote just so they could bring Venom in without using Eddie Brock... and so they could have an excuse to use his stupid Build Up Armor.
