Or teaming up and spitroasting the Invisible WomanIf Reed isn't in Doomsday, then that means no spic vs. spic fight between him and Namor.

And no Namor rape fantasies of Sue as well.If Reed isn't in Doomsday, then that means no spic vs. spic fight between him and Namor.
This is how most of the comments about F4 seem to be: it was ok. Not good, not bad... just exists and didn't bother me.Watched Fantastic 4. It was such a dull, nothing movie. It didn't offend me, didn't excite me, didn't do anything for me. It was unsalted, unsweetened popcorn. Water at room temperature on a mild day. The stakes weren't there, the inter character conflict wasn't there. It was just boring.
I genuinely liked it. I think it's the best possible Fantastic Four movie current MCU could of possibly made. The only thing I'm mid on is the casting. Nobody did a bad job, but the actors didn't elevate who they were playing at all. This is how most of the comments about F4 seem to be: it was ok. People can shit talk all the want about Deadpool, but people were actually excited for the movie and after the movie:
- they did the nsync dance and made it viral
- people were listening Like a Prayer and Madonna released the movie versions as well
- everybody got excited bc of Laura, Blade, and Elektra
- it landed Channing Tatum a role in the MCU due to popular demand
- it might as well being the thing that brought back the OG x-men to the MCU
- likely final nail on the coffin (npi) for Blade movie
- memes. Memes everywhere. Even the film producers released memes
Compare that with the mood for this movie. They did everything wrong to promote it and make people excited.
That doesn't sound right, but I don't know enough about Namor to dispute it.And no Namor rape fantasies of Sue as well.
“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is hanging on to No. 1 in its sophomore outing at the box office, despite a disappointing weekend two result and competition from Dave Franco, Detective Frank Drebin Jr. and “The Bad Guys” crew.
“Fantastic Four” grossed $11.7 million domestically in its second Friday on the big screen, marking a devastating 80% drop from its debut. If the poor turnout continues, the film will most likely fall short of its initial weekend two estimates of $45 to $52 million by Sunday. Its domestic grand total currently sits at $170 million and could reach as high as $198 million by the end of the weekend. Marvel shelled out more than $200 million to produce “Fantastic Four.
”The comic book tentpole, headlined by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn, was shaping up to be the MCU’s first post-pandemic success at bringing a new super team to cinemas after missing the mark with “Thunderbolts*” in May, “The Marvels” in 2023 and “Eternals” in 2021. However, the film appears to be having trouble expanding past comic book fans, even after a solid start of $118 million.
Marvel is a toxic brand. We're at the point where I'd be surprised if a genuinely good Marvel film would be enough to move the needle. People will show up for Spidey. People will show up for RDJ. But everything else is going to be box office death.Oh no, all is not well in the MCU. "Devastating" 80% drop from first to second Friday for FF. Guess that "Daddy Pedro" effect is as expected - repulsion. Overall second weekend drop off could be interesting in a few days.

It's not bad, and he's not super repulsive in the film. He plays a henpecked, but still competent guy - his acting is a little...wooden - who loves his family and wants to help people. It's just so fucking blaaaaannnddddd. It's a lot of 'The Fantastic 4 are great, listen to all the stuff they did which would have been fun to watch'. It felt like complete filler. Also, Sue Storm gets everyone to literally disband all their armies in a short cut away gag scene going over how cool and awesome she is.Oh no, all is not well in the MCU. bringing a pregnant woman with you to a space adventure where you meet a dude that murders entire planets for apparently no real reason, is a completely retarded move. Holy shit.

I suspect Sydney Sweeney is going to do very well for herself being the first starlet to make a hard turn with the culture shift. She definitely would of been a hotter Sue, not sure how she is as an actress.
They would need to rewrite the whole film if they did that. The film was the F4 after they had already essentially won at everything. World peace has been achieved, everyone appears to be the 'plate of steak and collared greens!' level of middle class well off. The subterran kingdom was peaceful and pleasant. The only major problems appear to just mildly annoying weirdos. The entire world was essentially being co-ordinated through the Baxter building. There should have casted a much hotter and younger looking Sue Storm.
So like in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace? Also, Sue Storm gets everyone to literally disband all their armies in a short cut away gag scene going over how cool and awesome she is.
Reminds me of an episode of Star Trek where a character was portrayed as being overly protective for not wanting his third-trimester pregnant wife to go to a heavily irradiated planet.Oh and bringing a pregnant woman with you to a space adventure where you meet a dude that murders entire planets for apparently no real reason, is a completely retarded move. Holy shit
Generic world peace had been achieved. Ironically enough, before they managed to wean themselves off of coal power somehow. Reed Richards can invent a way to teleport a fucking planet, and a faster than light spacecraft in a few months, but nuclear fusion is still perpetually five years away. Funny. So like in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace?
There is a chance that they will recast the whole MCU. We'd have a new Sue and also new Thor, Cap, etc. They would need to rewrite the whole film if they did that. A MILFY Sue made sense for that.
I wouldn't be opposed to a re-write though because I did not like the film.
Guess The Race Superbowl I.There is a chance that they will recast the whole MCU. We'd have a new Sue and also new Thor, Cap, etc.
We'll have the same Feige, though.
It's a rare thing to find competent villains and heroes in modern comic book media. Usually they're both fairly mediocre and if one isn't then they're handed the Idiot Ball at some pivotal moment to restore the balance. Off the top of my head, actual competence on both sides in the genre... the Young Justice cartoon (don't watch past S2!) had mostly smart villains who could pull off victories and had contingency plans so that even defeats often advanced their goals in some way. And the heroes did not sit around waiting for some big climactic moment they actually ran intelligence operations, training drills and more. Indeed the key idea of the YJ team was to have a more covert wing of the Justice League spun off that the villains didn't know about and which carried out reconnaissance, infiltration, etc. rather than direct confrontations. As far as the villains knew, the YJ members were still just side protegés of the JL members operating under them.As has been pointed out many, many times: The only means Disney employs to create plot-advancing conflicts is making characters retarded - even when the characters are established as being the smartest in their world. Go back through the entire MCU in your mind, and you'll see that every story hinges on there being some invisible switch that gets flipped to make people act retarded in particular situations; purely to produce a contrivance capable of creating or inviting a problem which will potentially lead to another film.
Reed was dispatching major villains in a throw-away scene in the background to make the planet "baby-safe" for Franklin. They would need to rewrite the whole film if they did that. Reed could hopefully have persuaded them that fission was already a much better energy source than coal and had enough fuel for the next several hundred years. Maybe Friends of the Earth lobbied against it.Generic world peace had been achieved. Ironically enough, before they managed to wean themselves off of coal power somehow. Reed Richards can invent a way to teleport a fucking planet, and a faster than light spacecraft in a few months, but nuclear fusion is still perpetually five years away. Funny.
Race is gonna be the least of our concerns once they adapt the plot to modern sensitivities. Wait for them to make it all about how hated the mutants are once we're meant to feel sorry for Phoenix attempting to destroy more worlds after they try to adapt that storyline again to show how strong women are.Guess The Race Superbowl I.
I wouldn't say it's rigorously Sixties. The TV spots and such look more 50s to me in some ways, just in colour. But that said I'm not sure it's mean to look exactly like the 60's. After all, it's not in the Sixties of this Earth. It's in the (presumably) present day of another one. We see that they're the first people into Space. The first Moon Landing was in 1969. So maybe it is meant to be an alternate very early 1960s. I don't know. What I will say is that the look of the film was one of the best aspects for me. The people doing the props deserve some kind of industry award because right down to throwaway details they're thinking about it. I liked the look of things a lot.For those who watched F4 already, does it have a real 60s vibe or it's more like "what Millennials think it's the 60s based on what they watched on WandaVision"?
They can just make her Muslim and it'll all be forgiven.Race is gonna be the least of our concerns once they adapt the plot to modern sensitivities. Wait for them to make it all about how hated the mutants are once we're meant to feel sorry for Phoenix attempting to destroy more worlds after they try to adapt that storyline again to show how strong women are.
