but is that really how the comic is paced? There's not tons of pages left out of there?
If so, it's really sad how nice the art is compared to how shitty the storytelling is. Confusing and boring, the worst combination.

Looking forward to see what they do with Anakin White Panther though.

I’m not sure what I find funnier - seeing the Usual Suspects ree-ing about “White Panther”, of the sheer amount of schadenfreude I’m getting from the comments (“But I thought you said race doesn’t matter for fictional characters” is arguably my favourite. It’s fun seeing their own words be turned against them)

Yeah this is probably a setup for the most obvious “I’m Actually a Villain” twists ever, but I’m enjoying it.

Every time I came into contact with anything written by Tony Isabella, my reaction could be summed up as "tedious". I heard rumors that Isabella got ass-blasted over a SNL sketch years ago about the funeral for Superman, in the wake of the much hyped "Death of Superman" story, because Black Lightning showed up, played by Sinbad and depicted as a buffoon with unimpressive powers who tries to crash the funeral, and at the end is stealing food from the buffet table at the reception.

The Thing is Jewish though they didn't officially make him so until the early Aughts, but it was suggested and hinted at in the years before that. I mean, come on, Benjamin Jacob Grimm. But he was a tough guy who grew up on the streets, arising from humble blue-collar origins, and not some spindly guy who acts like a real life Sol Rosenberg: "Oh, the battle with Doctor Doom was very loud, and he hit me with some sort of ray and then my shoes fell off. I'm suing for punitive damages!"
