In fairness has Ironheart had any actual success as a character?

I think they know this is a D-Lister at absolute best, but they're too committed to trusting "The Plan" to scrap anything. Too bad "The Plan" has been in a tailspin since Endgame, nevermind after He-wuz-Kang got arrested and they had to panic and pivot to Doom/bring back RDJ

Why is it every time a character happens to be Black, Hollywood feels the need to slap gangsta rap and RnB all over it? She's a genius, right? Maybe they could represent that by her going her own way and not buying into what the Mass Media pushes on people based on race. Have her kick back and listen to Pink Floyd or Beethoven or something.

I kind of agree with who's doing it, but I'm not sure the motivation is even infinite money. I think it's just racism. Not the sort the farms get all excited about, but just the "Black = Ghetto" equation Hollywood writers have hardwired into their brains.

Honestly, Tyler Perry's fucking Madea movies are more authentic than all these try-hard keeping-it-real Hollywood writers. In his movies he always plays just a regular guy in ordinary clothes trying to hold down a job and parenting.

It's like in the Black Panther movie (only seen the first) where Shuri is suddenly all about American trainers (sneakers for the North Americans). Like she's a fucking super-genius from a foreign fucking country. But no, she's all about "African American" culture. But then this is the movie where they show Black people making gorilla noises every time the White man tries to explain something to them. That actually happens in that movie. Goebbels wouldn't have made media as racist as the average Hollywood screenwriter.

I can name a few things that turn people off of the character. One is the name. "Riri" is ghetto as shit and doesn't encourage any marketability. Secondly her origin, her introduction during a time when Tony was dead or MIA. Finally the most obvious one, theres already an established black lead who knows Tonys armor and isn't an engineer, his name is James Rhodes. So many recent attempts to have new blood supplant and erase the memory of the old character almost always ends in failure. Nobody likes Kamala Khan or the new DEI or gay replacements for characters, nobody liked Jane Thor and introducing a million new Spider-Men to replace Peter.

They choose quite an old fuck in Don Cheadle to play Rhodes.

Meanwhile the comics have Rhodes shown as a bit younger and back to banging the original Ms. Marvel.

Don Cheadle trying to play hide the salami with Brie Larson, is a difficult sell.

I decided to check out some of the comics based on her, they are not just not interesting. And they named her Kamala as well despite it being an Indian name as shown by the recent presidential election.

I'm thinking she exists as some sort of brown pet for Carol Danvers like how liberals have their pet niggers or tokens.

I don't see how the MCU Avengers can win when 99% of them use metallic objects as clothes or weapons (Thor especially) or Xavier can just dull their minds and make them passive enough to stop fighting by freezing them in place. I'm imagining Falcons wings being condensed like a soda pop can while Stormbreaker gets lodged into Hulk, Ant-Man's apparatus being taken from him and Xavier just saying fuck it and making them all stop. Oh and thats not counting Nightcrawler who can just teleport the more dangerous ones away.
