Isn't Madripoor an Asian country?

EDIT:
Just checked and yeah, it is.

Concept art for Doomsday has apparently been leaked, and it looks like they already chose the nigger to play the new Black Panther.
this must be old as shit or fake. they're literally including all the "young" characters with Starlord being the only "veteran" that would be insane to do for a film. say what you will about the avengers, the teams were fairly small. This is a dozen characters most of them new all in one film a la The Eternals and we all know how that was received by the audience.

Never know - the House of Rat definitely seems to be scrambling with this one. They were all in on He Wuz Kang and Multiverse bullshit being “The Future of the MCU”, and now that they’ve panic brought back RDJ?

They might literally throw everything at the wall and hope it sticks.

I think its been said once but it must be said again.

The MCU would probably have been in a better state now if they recasted a few characters (i.e. T'Challa with a different guy or had Kilmonger become the lead instead since Michael B Jordan is a very popular actor and his character is popular unlike the "WHAT ARE THOSE" kid, and Kang who easily could've been handwaved away) and also not do all those Disney+ shows that made people struggle to catch up to the MCU

Not to mention there's so many plates being juggled right now that we're constantly in a state of waiting for payoffs that have every chance of underwhelming. For example, by the time they get to "Young Avengers" they'll most likely be in the same age range as the original team.

It's ridiculous. They need to continue cutting things until there's nothing that isn't absolutely essential.

new Black Panther.
even if this is real, too late. I liked the first one fine, it was just another marvel movie before when they were all at least okay before they all sucked and an okay one was a revelation that was astroturfed for culture war reasons. And he was good in Cap3.

but they totally wasted their sequel by not doing this as if the actor's dying wish was to never allow someone else to play the role. He probably didn't disclose he was dying so he'd get to keep the job, not to keep someone else from it, but because he knew it'd be a massive payday for his family for when he was gone.

I'm one of probably 15 people in the world who care about Namor so didn't like what they did with any of that but at least if the movie was about the Black Panther himself too I wouldn't have dwelled on it or cared that much. Instead they made the rest of it entirely insufferable being about all those African bitches with unlikable personalities for girl power dei points.

It would've been so easy to find a new nigger to cast as He Wuz Kangz and being a new variant already explains the recast. They were fine with Thunderbolt Ross somehow turning into Harrison Ford and the movie's only explaination is him saying "my advisors told me to lose the moustache or lose the election"

After Endgame, they needed to stop, look at all the characters they had, characters they wanted to add, and plot threads they wanted to introduce, and then create a large bible of it.

They needed to relax instead of churn out disjointed garbage in the hopes of keeping momentum going.

Basically, phases four and five were screwed up by the idea that they would produce too much and then tell the audience they didn't need to watch everything to follow.

Part of the allure of the MCU was that you consumed everything, and it was fun to take part. You didn't really have to, but it made you feel like you were part of the bigger deal.

Then, suddenly, it was all over the place with tv shows and movies, and movies that nobody cared about and tv shows you didn't have to watch (I remember the She-Hulk campaign that said, "Sorry incels, it wasn't made for you." Which didn't scare away incels so much as communicated the message that Marvel produced things that were not only not in the "must watch" category, but that Marvel has no problem telling you that you should probably spend your time and money elsewhere).

Point being:

People weren't struggling to keep up because of TV shows primarily or actors. It's because they couldn't be bothered to make all the threads fit together.

After Endgame, they needed to stop.......

They needed to relax instead of churn out disjointed garbage in the hopes of keeping momentum going.

Essentially, they had a decade+ long period of warm-up, vigorous intercourse, and a massive, earth-shattering climax with Infinity War/Endgame. At that point you need to have a cigarette, and then go to sleep. Instead they kept trying to push rope when their partner was ready for a nicely satisfied rest.

The glaring flaw in Disney's plans for the MCU is the arrogance in believing that they can sustain interest, quality, and insane profitability until the end of time. Yes, the MCU made a ton of money, but it hit the finale. It took over a decade to get everyone invested, and then they reaped the rewards of their carefully planned movie blitz. The thing about a climax, though, it that it means the end. They titled the movie Endgame, they had to know that that was it, the big send off.

After that nobody has the energy or desire to continue with that same level of interest. You can't expect to bring people to a level of heart-attack inducing hype and hold them there for years upon years. You set yourself up for failure thinking that you can, especially when you killed or retired all your big draws as part of the climax.

The smart thing to do then would have been to focus on a nice steady drip feed of high quality content, a few modest shows here, a movie there, with low, personal stakes, modest budgets and conservative goals for profitability. Shows like Daredevil and movies like Homecoming were on the right track, they focused on low stakes and personal growth. No giant space apocalypse - just a mob boss controlling crime or 7/11 robbers having laser guns, which gives room for relatable stories of personal growth. Just nice stand alone movies that any normie can enjoy without knowing all the lore (but its better if you do) with that focus on quality.

The point is not to make tens of billions and break records, that won't happen and you'll waste money, the goal is to keep the IPs and connections with the audience alive. Sell some toys at Christmas, keep the idea of the IP at the back of everyone's minds, make enough to keep core talent around, and mothball the rest.

That way in ten years or so you can take off the dust cloths, warm up the engines and do the entire fucking thing again, essentially. But you have to let the field lay fallow between cash crops.

unlike the "WHAT ARE THOSE" kid
Funny you mention that. I remember assuming she was on the younger side after she used a Zoomer meme in the first Black Panther—maybe early 20s—but she’s actually in her 30s now. I was fooled she was closer to being a teen then.

I feel like she had potential as a side character, but I’m guessing they turned her into yet another 'girl boss' in Black Panther 2, didn’t they? As a replacement of Black Panther she does fall short.

Well the actors bit is more of how they had issues with Black Panther 2 and the whole Kang fiasco.

But the TV Shows contribute to people not keeping up since a lot of these new movies require the tv shows to understand such as The Marvels requiring you to watch two tv shows at to get it, and one of the complaints some have with the new Cap movie is needing to watch the Falcon show.

Can’t find a dedicated Marvel Comics thread so I’ll vent here about my frustration that the Death Battle retards made Spawn beat Ghost Rider.

Laughably retarded.

There's the Comic book sperging thread, more appropriate for this than here.

But man, who gives a single solitary shit about what Death Battle does? It is, and has always been, fully retarded.
