Fucking Ant-Man managed to write a book and turn his short, relatively unimpressive tenure as a hero into a sustainable source of income. Sam Wilson is a veteran, an Avenger, spent a lot of time around Iron Man and Captain America and was much more involved in a much more hero shenanigans. His book would be ten times as popular, he could name his price for speeches at military academies and such, his lifetime story rights would be worth millions alone, not to even mention potential product endorsements ("Nike's new Air Jumpers are the next best thing to my Falcon Wings!"). All of this made even more valuable by the fact that the other more famous Avengers are either dead or completely uninterested in that kind of commercialization. Thats on top of his normal salary/pension and payouts, which wouldn't be something to sneeze at. Not to mention that even though Tony Stark is dead, I'm sure Pepper Potts would be more than happy to help her husband's comrade-in-arms if he was in dire straits.

The fact that Sam Wilson is such a dumb, desperate loser that he has to go to a bank to beg for a loan is an indictment of him, not of the bank. Seriously, how fucking stupid is Sam supposed to be? I guess very retarded, because he also turns down super-soldier serum and refuses to share his multiple vibranium armor suits. How is anyone supposed to admire this retarded nigger?
As far as I'm concerned, I see it as a really big problem. You have this Falcon guy stepping into the shoes of Steve Rogers....and he's such a fucking dickhead? He's preachy, he's arrogant, he chimps out over anything related to skin colour, he shits on Steve's legacy, his image, and his choice for taking the serum when Falcon America's carrying around enough tech to dismantle a country's military singlehandedly. Where does this asshole get off on considering himself worthy?

I know it's because he's chosen in the comics, but from what I briefly saw he's also an asshole in the comics too. The Falcon from Winter Soldier at least seemed relatable, this iteration is insufferable for the sake of it.

And there's no reason at all that he can't make ends meet without taking a bank loan. He could be a bounty hunter with his old Falcon suit if he really wanted to. There are so many opportunities available to him that wouldn't be closed just because he's melanated.

Refusing to look for work and complaining when the government doesn't give a handout is part of his capital B Black Identity. Applying yourself and working for a living is part and parcel of White Supremacist Heteronormative Systems, after all. Bix Nood, We Wuz Kangs, etc.

EFAP pointed out that he could sell one of his missiles and get the money he needs. He doesn't even need to go out and fight people.

wrong minorities, mutants are a very very blatant and unsubtle metaphor for Jews with Magneto being an actual literal Holocaust survivor.

Everyone is just mean and hates them for no logical reason, sound familiar?
I said made into for a reason. I think the Jewish British guy (not Stan Lee) who made X-Men what it is said he based Magneto and Xavier on a Zionist and some fag Jew.

Chris Claremont?
I've worked on the sidelines of lending enough that the idea of "yeah, you did save the universe from ten space hitlers, but we REALLY need that two years of tax filings if you want that mortgage" was funny to me
I didn't watch the show but a cape having bullshit from a loan makes me chuckle
it'd make a good subplot on The Tick. it's embarassing when serious capeshit tries to do it

The xmen being universally hated is kind of the first retcon of their universe. Originally, they weren't this hated. They were kept in secret bc mutants weren't yet a thing people knew about (as in, humans carrying the x-gene), but people saw them as random ordinary heroes.

By the time Kitty joined them, they had shifted more into the "metaphor", but still had other adventures. X-men post 2000 is just about the metaphor, and all of their adventures are about that. It's not just the writers being so unapologetically lefties, they also have no talent or imagination.

In that stupid Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ show Sam Wilson gets denied a bank loan because he's black.

Yes that's right a member of the Avengers who defeated Thanos and is one of the most famous and admired people on earth gets told "fuck you nigger no money for you."

This is how progressives think being black works.

But, yeah, I always thought Sam needing a loan like that was stupid. Surely Stark had something set up to help out the Avengers and its allies.
This happens when people adapting don't read the source material or ignore it to make a point that doesn't exist in the source.

The Avengers have a salary for being Avengers. Fuck it, even the X-men are paid for their job as superheroes.

In any case, there is no way that a group full of people with money would let one of their pals abandoned like this. There is no way that whoever is in charge of Stark company isn't keeping track of the team. Alas, in Justice League, when the Clarks lost their home, Bruce bought the bank.

Everyone is just mean and hates them for no logical reason, sound familiar?
There are logical reasons to hate them.

And the mutants too.

'Kitty gives a speech' is the worst meme of the Claremont era. What did Claremont mean when he made the only Jewish character a whiny shrew who constantly drops the n-word around blacks?
And the other Jew was the one trying to kill all humans to prevent another Holocaust.

Yes, Claremont is Jewish. LMAO.

It's not just a black thing!

On another note; I dig the design. Jackets over spandex are always a plus in my book.
Ben Riley's was the best one in terms of spidermen. Really simple, not too overcompicated, just aplain blue hoodie over a spiderman costume without the web lines on it. Almost every spiderperson outfit since then with a hoodie copies it without fully getting what made it good.

Scarlet Spider was a good look, they used an inverse of it for the Spider-Man in AAA

not a great shot but it was what I could find quickly

Having a racist-proof nigger skin and being handed a legacy name like being given a trust fund can do wonders to someone's ego, for all the wrong reasons. If I'm not mistaken, Steve went back to being the OG Cap in the comics after Falcon temporary became Captain America Nigger.

I don't like beating a dead horse but the Captain America title should have been retired in Avengers Endgame.

I just don't get the point of a legacy character with none of the powers of the original. Like Miles Morales is liked/tolerated because he has mostly the same power set as Spiderman.

Captain America is deliberately the Ubermensch.
Falcon Captain America is a better than average black person with tech he didn't develop himself.

Even if you want to argue he represents the modern American, the comparison is, if anything, absolutely based.
