Spider Gwen is already DEI, and they have an incentive to keep her white because they got people to ship her with a mulatto. What are they going to do, make her a tranny? Tbh I'd love to see the fallout from that, all the urban youths they pulled in with Spiderverse and the PlayStation games would tear them to shreds.

Disney will almost try to make her a tranny sooner or later. Cause Disney can just say Gwen a tranny without needing to show the deeds.

I'm thinking more hiring women to write and direct the film, ensuring that it will appeal to no one. They did the same thing with Obi-Wan. Surefire hit for Disney, but then they gave it to a woman and she fumbled it so fucking hard it got downgraded from a movie to a tv show and then the tv show flopped. "I have this amazing opportunity to make a show about Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi, a character people love.. so let's make it about baby Leia and a random black woman."

Kevin's been off-kilter recently, but he's correct here. Peter needs to go to college and start fighting guys like Kingpin, not cosmic level threats. Leave that to the Avengers.

Yeah and there really is nothing to really do with Tobey and Andrew with Tom. Street Level Spider-Man needs to be highlighted more often, since it will be too much to put him in multiverse adventures
 
"Madame Web" is apparently set in 2003 and the news gets confusing. They were trying to tie it in to the Tom Holland Spiderman, or the newer guy Spiderman, and maybe they set in 2003 in order to tie it in with the MacGuire Spiderman, or it will be a total stand-alone, maybe. Anyways more signs pointing to this flick being a mess.
 
I think an issue with the super hero genre is that it was kind of a novelty when it was still new. Everyone would go starry eyed at the prospect of seeing Spiderman swinging around like seeing the panels coming to life. But once that thrill has worn off, what we have left? Comics can get away with a lot of stupid shit, ranging from silly concepts to outright retcons that range from minor to universal. But movies cant get away with it as easily.

Comic books only started to use multiverse plotlines mostly as a way to technically keep these stories going forever and justify major retcons and, eventually, massive stakes.

Its of my belief that the super hero movie genre just wasnt meant to go very far all things considered because it all mostly only works in comics and the novelty is finally wearing off as we are all starting to see just how sadly formulaic it all really is.

You see, a lot of these writers cant help themselves. She wanted a Reva show but, because no one would watch a show about a random black inquisitor that was a youngling survivor (tho if it was written well, we def. would), she decided to selfishly hijack the obi-wan series to make her OC a reality. Star Wars is in the hands of people that quite frankly dont give a shit about it, simply to use it as a way to expose their characters who they hopefully think will be a smash hit with audience (only in their most delusional Hollywood bubble dreams but I digress)

We clearly are in the "who asked for this" phase of a dying trend, huh? Who asked for a fucking "Madame Web" movie? Absolutely fucking no one. The Venom movies? Fine, I understand, he is a popular comic book characters that even normies know about but Morbius? Madame Web? WHO ASKED FOR THESE?!

It reeks of arrogance from the higher ups, thinking they can serve shit and tell us is chocolate cake with an exotic smell. The super hero genre truly needs to die, go on a hiatus for a couple years and return with a healthy slow stream of releases that make sense.

You know, I think the Westerns died a more graceful death than this. All I know about them is that they got cheaper and people stopped watching. Superhero movies have this elaborate public suicide show for everyone to watch which makes everyone wonder "Why are they doing this?"

I've heard those rumors as well. Honestly the only things I want for a sequel are Scorpion or The Hobgoblin to show up.
 
Ryan George's Pitch Meeting series is one of the very few YouTube media skit shows that I still find funny. Honest Trailers, How It Should Have Ended... blah. But Pitch Meeting usually makes me laugh. And he never fails to make time for the Marvel Shows.

The funny thing is that dying trends usually have them with smaller and smaller budgets but because of the nature of the super hero genre, alongside with "bigger is better" mentality, the budgets become needlessly bloated alongside with lesser returns. So its flashier death spiral that was never seen before.

The CGI looks worse with every new movie though and the actors are literal whos. The mega budgets might be false or a scam

Wouldn't surprise me if there is an element of money laundry on the whole thing. It's not the first time Hollywood was involved in these activities, nor it will be the last.

Even if we assume that they aren't, it means that the ones behind the CG have little time, experience and skill to do a good job. Why the hell you think we are still gushing about T2 and Jurassic Park's CG to this very day? They knew what they were doing and money can't buy that.
