The Cope™ about The Marvels was that it could ride it out, maybe not lose so much money. And look where that got them.

The MCU brand is now box office poison, and the people in charge were so arrogant they thought they could put anything out there with the Marvel brand on it and audiences would go crazy for it. Though, it did take audiences a dozen years to finally turn against the MCU. Meanwhile Disney decimated Star Wars so harshly in less than half that time that every upcoming film project had to either get turned into a TV show or canned.

    • The issues plaguing the MCU are one component, but it's going to be very difficult for Disney to get their audience back. They basically fried everyone's dopamine receptors with Spider-Man NWH, and now can't get people to tune into anything (even if it's good shit)

Doom Blazer is bigger than the MCU. I can legitimately analyze his 1 minute videos more than the movies and shows he shills for every day.
 
What franchise doesn't have its problems? Well, until Disney got hold of them, Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Even the prequels made huge amounts of money, they were financial successes and didn't prevent LucasFilm from making lots of money off other Star Wars media and toys in the 2000s. The prequels didn't kill the IP like the Disney sequel trilogy and TV series and books/comics did

The MCU itself didn't have problems until Phase 1 ended and they decided to make everything gay and lame

You mean Phase 3. Before then, there was a lot of FOMO going on with those movies.
 
Not gonna lie, the Vellani cocksucking irks me a bit. Not a thing against the actress herself, but while yes, she's not having meltdowns like that faggot says, but everyone is going "she's just a kid! she's so positive! she's a treasure!"

She may look young but she's an adult, she's a paid shill by contract, and even if she's legitimately a true fan from before, which I don't really question, she's just the keys they're dangling in front of your face precisely to endear you with it and distract you from the fucking disaster.

But come on, the problems didn't really set in until after Endgame. There were blips (heh) before, but nothing like what happened after.

I would put the dividing line between acceptable and unacceptable MCU movies as pre-Endgame or post-Endgame. Doctor Strange 1 was when I started noticing the MCU formula going stale, but tolerable. Endgame sets up the stupid Multiverse Time travel premise and everything after it is outright garbage.
 
There have been like 11 films after Endgame, and only like 2 of them are genuinely good/great films (No Way Home and Guardians 3) while a few of them were mid and most are trash.

But there have been like 9 tv shows that came out that are all mid or trash. The ones that were close to being good had something that held them back whether it was in the show or a behind the scenes thing that hurts the product (i.e. bad effects, really existing as homework to watch other movies)

She could easily be a Rachel Zegler type or have a giant ego. Honestly someone like Iman is really uncommon in Hollywood. I wasn't blown away by her performance or anything though.

This made me depressed. The last time I tried to watch the parade on TV, they spent more time blowing hot air up the skirt of the person who, I think, wrote "Jefferson" the musical, than showing the actual parade. I tried afain several years later, and they showed even less of the parade than that one. Even checking multiple channels.

Its probably for a couple of reasons. The most obvious is that the Marvel float is a fucking sausage fest and at that they only got one villain. Emma Frost remains an antagonist to the X-men until 1994 and Fall of the Mutants was still pretty fresh in the minds of true believers so using her was killing two birds with one stone.
