That's what it took?

It is more the final straw... I was pretty much done anyway. I went to the cinema to see the Marvels the other night with my better half who funny enough hated it more than me.

Pascal is just a pile of garbage. Can't wait for his 5 Iron scene to happen.

But most of all I just don't get his appeal.

John was a better choice, but nope we get Pedo Pascal :(.

The only amusing part of this is imagining poor Pedro being stretched by what remains of the non syndicated Mexican equivalent of the VFX team. May this kickstart a new appreciation for Ioan Gruffudd and that terrible dancing scene.

Oscar Isaac
You just made me realize he even looks more like Reed than Pedro. Theres some people out there that forget he is Guatemalan even.

you know Madam Web looks like garbage, and I won't watch it but I recently finally saw Venom 2 and it's legitimately a better adaptation of the source material then most MCU movies the last few years. Have you ever read a Venom solo comic from the 90s? the movie is pitch perfect that tone of totally retarded, nothing makes sense, poor comedic parts, indecipherable motivations, horrendous dialogue, cartoony unrealistic violence but the characters look kinda cool so your dumbass older brother or cousin or whatever will try to convince you it's dark and for older kids. It was a horrible movie and I loved every second of it. I'll also never watch it again.

I go back and forth on how much I liked that movie. Sam Raimi's horror touches and visual flair really elevate it but at the same time the pacing and structure are awful and underneath Raimi's style is still a very generic MCU film.
Yeah the movie is honestly held back by shitty writing because Raimi really elevates the film with his style and visual flair.

This trailer dropping days after The Marvels got hosed at the Box Office sure is interesting timing.
I didn't think about it but it's pretty bad timing. To a general normal audience who just this past week didn't give a shit about a Marvel movie about a group of super women a trailer drops for another marvel movie about a group of super women they won't give a shit about. However, this time your normie coworker or dad or uncle or whatever will also add, look they're ruining Spider-Man because he's the bad guy in that other super bitch Marvel movie fuck that shit.

Question for people who watched What If stories. In the cases where they replace white heroes with diversity, is the world ever worse for it (in-universe)?

Not sure about that, but Doctor Strange basically ends his entire universe. Best episode of the first season too.
