I would dearly love to know how much the stuntman who played Taskmaster - a character that spent nearly the entire movie in costume with mask on - got paid compared to the actress who had about two minutes of screentime playing Taskmaster with the mask off and basically just stood there with no dialogue the entire time. I mean it - I would LOVE to find that out and compare the figures.
Is that why they gave him a whole episode and almost surely will have him in the next one if not in all of the next ones?
My brother and mother enjoy it, so I watched it with them over skype. It's very bad. Very tedious, everyone is phoning it in acting wise, and the plot is walking through treacle in terms of speed.
What did happen to him? He was pretty big and just vanished from any major role? Did he come out as conservative or fucked the wrong person?
I read somewhere he's picky about his roles.
Hollywood is just so weird with how to handle things like this. Sometimes they replace the actor (Kevin Spacey, Johnny Depp), sometimes they kill them offscreen/forget about their existence, and in this case, they just keep Majors on. Don’t know why they can’t just replace him. Regardless of whether he did anything wrong or not, at least a portion of Marvel’s toxic audience is going to be disgusted by him still being in the MCU.
Especially when you look at his performance in The Last King of Scotland, you have to wonder what happened.
Why would they make a sequel to Gladiator of all things? That movie ended with Russel Crowe's character dead and reunited with his family at the elysian fields. There was nothing left in that story to tell.
