Iron-Man and Cap being gone really sealed the deal on the MCU’s fate. Those two were the only true characters in these films.
You had a 10+ year story arc spanning several solo movies, team-up movies, etc that for the most part came together nicely in Infinity War and Endgame. Currently you have a bunch of characters that get the most basic of introductions, are seemingly amazing (if they are female) at everything from the first second. There is 0 connection to the characters as they are portrayed in the MCU, they are for the most part extremely unlikable due to obnoxious writing.

While some of it I found enjoyable on the most basic levels (Moon Knight and Mrs. Marvel), all the rest I bothered watching was extremely under-whelming and I doubt they can bring it all together. There are so many characters in the Marvel roster and they simply focus on the female version of an already established male character. She-Hulk, Kate Bishop, Ironheart, Shuri becoming Black Panther. Where's Emma Frost? Rogue? Storm? Can they bring back Jessica Jones? They did it with Daredevil. Hell, where is Elektra? Go over the top and bring in Squirrel Girl.

But why put effort in these next phases when you can just force atrocities like She-Hulk on us, right?

The X-Men won't come around for a while (barring the Fox-Men showing up for multiversal cameos), so that's Emma, Rogue, Storm, and a bunch of others out of the way until then. It's always been a problem that the best female characters in Marvel were tied to larger franchises, and particularly ones that for a long time were to be de-emphasized due to rights bullshit.
It's the entire reason they did what they did with Carol.

Jessica Jones they actually may bring back, if rumors are to be believed. Hell, recent rumors (some of the based on social media posts by the actors) point to all the Netflix 5 coming back. But Elektra? That's the problem with integrating the Netflix canon: The Hand wasn't very good, so bringing her back would be kind of awkward.

Squirrel Girl almost made it with that New Warriors show that was thankfully killed before moving forward.

Thor’s done for the near future too, Chris Hemsworth found out he’s at high risk from some kind of neurodegenerative disease and is taking a break from acting to spend time with his family. Not that he was ever a headlining Avenger in the first place but Hawkeye’s also done, due to Jeremy Renner getting run over by a snowplow. And of course Black Panther, who was probably supposed to play a big part in the new generation of Avengers, is done because Chadwick Boseman fucking died and they chose not to recast him. Spider-Man is also likely done for the near future, with Sony wanting to spin off its own universe (and thus being less likely to play ball with Disney) and Holland not so subtly hinting that he wants to leave the role.

To say they’re not in an enviable position right now is putting it lightly.
Chris Hemsworth doesn't have any neurological issue, he was told if he kept cycling roids for capeshit he'd die young.

Also I hope they just straight up have a Yakub Kang. Then I'll know a /pol/ack is hiding in Marvel Studios.

Sincerity is out, as a lot of modern writers, from the people who write in the vein of the Wendigs and the Gunns and the people who think Joss Whedon was the gold standard for script-writing, they cannot do anything without constantly mocking it, deconstructing it, undercutting dramatic moments with smirky fourth-wall breaking jokes and reveling in their detached self-distance mixed with a smug acknowledgement of how hip and wise they are to media "tropes" , and creating characters that, no matter the genre or setting, respond to almost everything with tiresome "sass".

I'll give Quantumania credit for actually being funny in parts, unlike Thor: Love and Thunder.

There was nothing as annoying and unfunny as the fucking screaming goats in it.

My guess is they are gonna keep blue-balling us with any future X-Men MCU stuff until Deadpool 3. Autistic take I had at some point was they are purposely creating these characters to be extremely unlikeable so we can have a "Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe", but that is wishful thinking.

It was a little like GOTG2, too pleased with its own jokes. GOTG2 had a solid emotional core and stakes that mattered though, whereas L+T never really bothered to show why the Gods should be saved. They were all assholes and Gorr never got to go on a rampage in their place which was a huge missed opportunity.

GotG2 at least knew when to shut the fuck up, something current Marvel appears incapable of doing. Mantis breaking down after touching Drax, Peter going from "happy family fun times" to "mag dumping into Ego's avatar" with just a change of expression, Yondu's death... Stupid humor notwithstanding it let the dramatic beats breathe. Movies like Love & Thunder can't manage that kind of balance.

L&T was doubly disappointing to me because I've actually read the Gorr story arc from the comics, and it's better than the movie in every way.

Yup. For all of Gunn's faults, he can manage moments of genuine pathos. Taika Wanktitty, on the other hand, seems allergic to real emotions and goes out of his way to undercut every single dramatic moment in every one of his films with stupid, cringy "humour". The prime example of this is the end of Ragnarok, where Asgard's burning and everyone looks devastated, but oh, here's the director's self-insert bullshit character to spout a load of unfunny nonsensical crap over the top of it and kill the emotional impact stone dead.

I just came back from a weekend trip to Malaysia's capital, and found some cursed action figures I wanted to share in regards to the MCU.

Killmonger Thor and Yellow Loki (and Ms Woman)

Grimace and American Man

I'm not gonna lie, Killmonger Thor is something I will pay money to see just wreck everyone

Where do they keep finding fanfiction AI possessed goblins? That seems really rare, and yet Marvel and DC have them in abundance. Like Oompa Loompas
Through Rick & Morty writers. Seriously, this is their 2nd-3rd writer from there, & he might be writing the next Avengers. I won't be surprised if that decision gets overturned considering it seems to be making even less than the 1st Ant-Man, let alone supposed competitions such as Black Adam & Morbius.

Also, the guy seriously looks even worse without facial hair. It's like an autistic Jake Gyllenhaal.

People really need to just give up on this shit. Phase 4 was shit, and all the telltale signs are there to tell you this shit has become completely pozzed.
I think they have, really. NONE of my normie friends ever talk about this - and these are people that regularly saw and discussed all the Avengers crap through Endgame. I get the feeling that teens and normies might go see further movies simply because there's very little else for them to see, and going to the movies is still somewhat a thing. But I get the distinct feeling it's like winding up at Chili's or Outback - people just go because they didn't really have a plan and they know the brand...not something they really care about or look forward to.

Apparently his role will be "significant and integral to the future of the MCU." Maybe he's Sentry?
Sentry movie could be pretty fun. Have him greenscreened in footage from previous films. Retcon the endings: Ultron is thrown in the sun, Thanos is ripped in half from head to toe.
But something tells me if that movie ever happens, Sentry won't be a golden-haired ubermensch...

The MCU is definitely past the honeymoon period at this point, but I think it's too soon to say that it's beyond salvaging. There'll be a few must-see films every couple years, some shows that have good word of mouth and you'll have both that fall flat. No different to any other phase.
