What the fuck is this design. I'm sure Bale will turn in a great performance, but Gorr looks fucking terrible compared to the comics.
Bruh.

That's the Uncle Fester makeup from the 90s Addams Family movies. I have no idea who Gorr is (and I know who Morbius was, so...) but I have trouble believing that he looks that shit in the comics.
You would have thought that some sort of consequences for time travel or multiverse shit would have been coming, but they were seemingly taken care of in a fucking Disney+ show and a single doctor strange film.
Yeah but all those things contradict each other. Endgame was "lol, whatever," Loki was "the future is set in stone by Kang" and MoM was "there are infinite alternate dimensions yet somehow unique individuals and a ton of retards."

I suppose you can say they're following the spirit of comics by having the rules be whatever made-up bullshit the writers need them to be at any given time.

It looks stunning, but it feels like it lacks substance and the quips/jokes feel all the more stale now. Including Whor didn't help either.
Trailer was absolute shit. I hate Valkyrie. I hate Korg. I hate the shitty soft rock they use in the trailer. What did Jane Foster do to become worthy of Mjolnir? Should have given it to Kat Dennings because if we have to tolerate an insufferable jew in our superhero films, it might as well be one with giant milkers.

I’d be more impressed if they didn’t have to add CGI muscles to her arms.
Nat worked a bit, Tessa had CGI.

Edit: Apparently neither did Nat.

I agree with a lot of what you said, especially that Jane Foster didn't do anything to be worthy of wielding Mjolnir, but why would you act like Kat Dennings was still anything other than objectively terrible?

I like big tits as much as the next guy, but big tits aren't enough to make an otherwise insufferable woman worth paying attention to.
It isn't even like big tits are in short supply these days.

You're absolutely right... Which is why having a nice ass also helps.

Out of all the original Avengers, Thor seems to be the one with the least interesting villains with the exclusion of Hela. Loki may have started out as an villain but as the MCU went on, he became more of an anti-villain since women and some men want to have sex with the character and Tom Hiddleston. Laufey had so little screen time I'm surprised he was a credited role for Colm Feore and Christopher Eccleston continued his trend of bad roles in American blockbuster with portraying Malekith. I'm guessing Enchantress won't be featured any time soon because the "stupid audience" would confuse her with the DC one.

The entire movie industry is spending the last couple of years trying to cannibalize everything from the 90's, and you can really see it from the logo. But the thing I just realized is how much hypocritical those 80's references are that, if that movie was made in that decade then Lady Thor would have a chainmail bikini rather a suit with tiny dimples for boobs.

The whole premise of Lady Thor in the MCU really takes away the specialness of being chosen by it. Thor, Cap, and now Whor? Seems like anyone can use it these days.

I just watched the “Avengers Assemble” scene from Endgame and I was kind of appalled at how bad and fake it looked. People actually like this? Everything from the way characters hop out of the portals and pose to the way they speak seems manufactured and stiff on top of cheap fake looking CGI that sticks out like a sore thumb. Worse yet is most of the focus is on Black Panther and the Wakandans cutting between that and The Guardians Of The Galaxy while we have scant frames of Captain America who should feel like the rallying point but just really doesn’t.

If you genuinely like this you’re a tasteless moron and need to neck yourself.

I re-watched the trailer and I'm not understanding the hype, but it will probably make a billion or close to it because of the Marvel brand. This must've cost at least 200 million to make (not counting marketing costs). So I wonder where all the budget goes because these CGI-heavy action movies always look pretty shitty. Bright colours can't take away that fact.

If Hulk is presumably going to make She-Hulk his "successor", then I'm sure Lady Thor will takeover. I would laugh my ass off if Jane becomes "King" Valkyrie's queen by the end of the movie. Bonus points if they get another female character to be the 3rd wheel in their relationship.

If Lady Thor was created in the 1980s, they'd either do a rip-off She-Ra costume:

Or whatever Carol Danvers wore:

Reminder that they basically shot themselves in the foot by not letting anyone see the script until the day they shot, and it was literally just lines they had to say with no context behind them shot on a green screen.

All so people wouldn't figure out that Captain America would use Mjolnir (like in the comics) and that everyone would come back to life (like in the comics) and that the Tony Stark would die (when he hadn't renewed his contract)

The MCU has really run out of plot but not momentum, so it's just fucking around with random stories that ultimately don't go anywhere. What's the through line on all this shit? Where is it going? Why should I care?
Yea, there was a point made that it was dumb to introduce Adam Warlock in GotG 3.

They're also bringing Ironheart into the next Black Panther for some godforsaken reason.

They are starting to wing it with these films. At the same time, maybe they're so powerful that they can do that now.
