I was convinced that since House of M is such an obvious influence on Scarlet Witch's arc in both Wandavision and Dr. Strange 2 it was going to end with her mindfucking the MCU into bringing the X-Men in. That of course leads to X-Men vs Avengers and Mag-fucking-neato wrecking shit left and right.
House of M would be one the best story arcs to do, and if it brought the X-Men in, then Deadpool's introduction to the MCU would be vs X-Men, then Blade joins the party, She-Hulk joins, then X-Men vs Avengers (with Ironheart intro) and that leading into Armor Wars. Well, I can hope.

They'd better have the balls to completely recast X-Men is all I'm going to say. We don't need 50-year olds from the first trilogy. We don't need the shitty cast from the First Class films. We don't need Hugh Jackman or Patrick Stewart.

And we need a truly threatening Magneto. In the comics he's tried to end the world several times a decade. Stop with the piddly "I will lift this football stadium!" shit. But they'll never do it. Even Wanda in this movie, what's the threat? The stakes are so low. "She could rule the entire multiverse!" but Wong is saying "don't kill that kid" because she doesn't want to rule the entire multiverse. She just wants to make her kids a milkshake and she has to kill this one ugly teenager to make it happen.

We're going to have so many great villains like Magneto and Doom and Galactus and none of it will be done half as well as Thanos was. They're never going to top that.

I got a copyright notice from my ISP about Dr. Strange of all things and it's the first time ever and for Dr. fucking Strange? Now I'm going to get a VPN and download every MCU movie out of spite. It was a camrip that had advertisements for Indian slot machines! It's hardly theater quality you assholes.

I feel like a lot of people are definitely tired of having to watch every single movie that's coming out now. Saw Dr. Strange today, and when the end credit stinger of 'Dr. Strange will return', someone further down shouted 'I hope not!' and also shouted out 'Good!' during the very, very final end credit of Bruce Campbell's character saying 'it's finally over!'.
It was average, but also forgettable? I remember parts, but I personally dislike this Wanda/Scarlet Witch and her motivations are just...dumb? I am a little sad it has been apparently beating The Batman box office wise, as I loved the dark, noir detective-ness (I love stuff like Seven) of that compared to 'ticks all the boxes recent superhero movie'. Not to mention, it didn't have weird, shoehorned in woke stuff like 'I have two moms' and 'I wear a gay pride pin badge'.
Also I do not read the comics at all, so cameos from not as well known characters now are just 'What? Who?' from me, and I have better things to do than to try and read up on who all of these new people are (especially when they keep dying 5 seconds after being introduced).

Sounds like MCU cucks to me. If there's a movie I have no interest in watching, I don't watch it.

Dr. Strange is such a shitty character, and that movie sucked. Don't click spoiler if you don't want spoiler, fren.

Cringe political shit that made me roll my eyes:
  • brown people everywhere now
  • lesbian parents for the spic girl
  • the two male superheroes were killed almost instantly leaving a long fight with just three women.
  • Dumb bechdel test approved shit
  • Dr. Strange refused to take the little spic girl's powers because "wahman supa strong 'n don't need no man to help"
  • the sacrificial black woman who acts as a Jesus on the cross for humanity type character
  • the entire thing is also about a white Karen having all of the power and using her power for evil against brown people only to then declare herself woke in the end.
  • nigga still simping over this mole faced bitch after being literally CUCKED by a black man
I went on a date with a dude who really likes Dr. Strange and I'm wondering if that's a red flag because this shit was GAY.

As soon as I saw that Strange got cucked by a black man, I knew the movie was going to be hot garbage.

Zombie Strange with the power to control the souls of the damned was kinda creative though. Too bad they didn't kill Scarlet.

The continuity of these stories doesn't even matter anyway, so how much of a "universe" is there? In Spider-Man, Dr. Strange is all "don't fuck with the multiverse, I'm an expert" but in his own movie he steps into another universe and the first thing he does is assume the local Mordo is the exact same guy as his Mordo. Then you find out he keeps fucking with the multiverse! I get that he's supposed to be sort of irresponsible but when he keeps saving the day from bigger threats the message gets lost.

I'll spoil the end of Phase Whatever for you. Strange sacrifices himself to save the multiverse just like Tony Stark sacrificed himself to save the Earth. They're doing all the same Iron Man beats. He was a jerk, then he got powers, then he fought a worse version of himself. Now in his second film he's being held responsible for the sins of his father alternate selves and he has to use the same macguffin as his father alternate selves but in a good way this time. So for his third movie we'll learn that someone he arrogantly dismissed when he was a surgeon is a villain.

Just bring up the spoiled stuff with him and find out. As a red-blooded American male I could only make it through by reminding myself of the sacrifices my countrymen made on the beaches of Normandy, etc., and so finishing this shitty movie was a small price to pay to see what kind of garbage the average consoomer is experiencing. I felt a severe loathing towards that ugly bean girl and her high-waist jeans.

Also the one thing nobody quips about in this movie is the fact that her name is America and they keep shoving it into the dialogue. "We have to save America" oh gee I wonder what that could mean in the context of brown lesbians.

Just bring up the spoiled stuff with him and find out.
Meh. I said the movie was a bit cringe and asked if he noticed the political shit they sprinkled in and he acted as if he had no idea what I could possibly be talking about. Either he is too brainwashed to see it anymore or is too much of a pussy to say anything about it.
:( Either way, all is lost with this one. He seemed really smart. Sad.

3. The soybody dream theory. There is build up to a "Disney universe" so that the cameos switch from a feature to a main attraction. Basically, any Disney owned IP will appear in Capeshit because muh alternative universe and people will buy tickets due to nostalgia.
This sadly seems likely as messed up as it sounds and I've addressed it before in that they have made a small amount of progress in it via cameos so far.

"Felucia in Marvel's What If...?"

Bryan Andrews the storyboard artist for the majority of the MCU and its spinoffs is a vapid fan of wanting a SWxMarvel crossover and has even convinced other writers to share his sentiment. Its gotten to the point where he and some of the MCU staff pitched a crossover idea for a film or special to Disney and Feige but they supposedly rejected it, for now.

Despite this, he was allowed to add the disney wars universe via Mustafar to the Marvel multiverse in an episode of that "What If..." crap which according AC Bradley are all canon universes in the MCU's multiverse, so they're making some gay headway. And I expect the marvel fanboys denying this now will be the first to slob the knob of an eventual crossover. It doesn't help that the MSM has been shilling the idea feverishly too since that turbofaggot Patton Oswalt made that horribly cringy MCUxSW crossover pitch in that show of his years back, with Lucasfilm even adapted the gay version of Boba's escape from that pitch.

I really wouldn't be surprised if a crossover between the two is the endgame starting after the Ahsoka shitshow is said and done or for when they inevitably revisit the time anus.
So in short Bryan Andrews is the biggest shill for this idea and he has a few within the MCU staff on his side, and aside from a lot of internal shilling, Disney has been far too eager to flex its ip muscles. It also doesn't help that crossovers are all the rage these days despite that they're autism incarnate, so they're more likely to do it as soon as possible when they have the proper set up (and Wreck it Ralph 2 seemed to serve as a starting point for them). It also doesn't help that reddit has had a bigger hard-on for the idea since that cringy video about Patton Oswalt's idea for a crossover started trending again.

Its probably the biggest sign of creative bankruptcy imaginable, yet redditors and consumers will eat it up or claim its a childhood fantasy. It doesn't help that the next Kingdom Hearts game is also rumored to feature Marvel and SW elements, and that fanbase has no shortage of autism fuel to add to the already increasing bonfire of cringe.

Also watch as America Chavez becomes the first superhero jedi.

Soooooo, what are they building up to here? From the start of Iron Man 1 we knew we were building up to the Infinity Gauntlet storyline with Thanos which culminated In Infinity War and Endgame.

Now what? Who or what are we building up to? Who will be the next overarching protagonist? We Wuz Kangz the Conqueror? Galactus? Dr. Doom? Who?

The MCU has hit past it’s peaking point IMO. It’s downhill from here on out. Nearly everyone I know checked out at Endgame including me.
"Nonsense Doom will be vicotuous no matter what"

Their going to ruin Doom won't they.

The movie was OK for me. The woke stuff I could easily ignore. The one thing I'm pissed about is that Patrick Stewart gave a better performance here than he did in Picard meaning that old fuck is debilitating giving a shitty performance in Picard to lecture us. Fuck that guy!!!!

Also I can't belive they legit went with the fan art for John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic.

I'm just sad that Captain Carter became half the woman she used to be.

Overall the movie was OK for me. America wasn't too offer of a character than I was a expecting.

Overall I really don't know where marvel is going for their major story arc at this point Secret Wars or the multiverse?

Really Wanda's plan is confusing merely because the characters keep saying she wants to take over the multiverse. When she never says that and mostly talks about just wanting to see her kids again.

For some reason, the only thing that truly rustles my jimmies about this is the idea that fucking Jim from the US Office is Mister Fantastic. Somehow that is the cherry on top of this shit sundae.

For the record, I wasn't a fan of casting Cumberbatch back in the first movie.

Enjoyed it, people sperging about cuckoldry and niggers and politics would have intentionally found something to sperg about regardless. Happy to see

full on villain Wanda and I don't believe she's dead.

Yeah it was a decent movie, like I was happy that Sam Raimi had more control than usual directors for these MCU films especially with the horror elements that were pretty cool especially with Zombie Strange.

Honestly the only real issue I have with the film is the stuff with Wanda's kids and the mid-credits scene.
So is Dr Strange good?

I hear you need to watch Loki, Wandavision and What If before. I can't be fucked.
You really need to watch Wandavision, but you can just read some spoilers and you're done. The most of What If is really just a cameo from a character that appears from it, and there isn't much stuff with Loki.

Honestly this movie would be way better if it were part of Sam Raimi's own thing rather than part of the MCU.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you, but I really liked Dr. Strange 2. It was enough of a deviation from the Marvel Formula that I was able to forgive some of its minor shortcomings. Easily the best MCU film since Infinity War.

Things that were good:
-The Villain. After 20+ films of tossaway villains, we finally got one with a backstory and a motivation we're invested in.
-The sheer brutality of the violence. I love that the bad guy doesn't shy away from brutalizing the good guys. Everybody gets a bad end here. Everybody.
-No wasted time. No stupid flashbacks (see: Black Widow, Shang-Chi). No 'unrelated action prologue' at the beginning. Its the same villain the whole way through. Its a movie that respects your time in a way most Marvel Formula movies don't.
-It wasn't predictable. There were constant twists and turns to the plot and I was constantly being surprised by what was happening. Most Marvel movies end with giant sky lasers and shit. This film ended with a corpse beating up a woman who wants to be a mother in a film released on Mother's Day weekend.
-For all the talk of stronk womyn and minorities, Strange is never demeaned or diminished. He's the star of the show and ultimately the guy who gets shit done.
-The Raimi touch. Raimi, unfortunately, doesn't get much chance to shine in this film, however, there are a lot of wonderful little sequences that are pure Raimi and so wonderful.

Things that were bad:
-Wong. Wong has always sucked and he still sucks here.
-John Krasinzki's casting as Reed Richards. Benedict Cumberbatch is a terrible actor, but he's a dead-on Strange. John looks and acts nothing like Reed. Great death scene though.

Also, if you're the person who is numbering dimensions in the multiverse, why would you gives yours number 832?

The cinematography and fight scenes were noticeably more interesting than the average marvel fare with Raimi directing. The horror aspects were enjoyable. I'd probably recommend this movie.
The word on the streets I hear is that Raimi tries to inject some distinctive visuals into the movie, including some Evil Dead-style violence, making it almost kind of a horror movie (reminder that characters can die with no consequences). MCU fans are not happy about this, they want the MCU house style, even a smidgeon of idiosyncrasy is not welcome.
