Here, well you get to see Patrick Stewart in the classic golden wheelchair from the comics before he gets murdered.
Unfortunately he's too fucking old to give an energetic scream.

For all the talk of how "connected" and "built up" the MCU was, it feels like it's going to be thrown away now and nobody will say anything about it.
It's like the normies and MCU stans will consume their shit since they have been the only cinematic universe to stay on top for over a decade.
I've not seen any of these multiverse movies but I'm already sick of them. It feels like a bunch of lulzy YouTube videos collected into a two-hour movie. Jim as Mr. Fantastic just because fans kept making fan art of him and Emily Blunt as Invisible Woman? Like @Woke Blue Muttlema said, getting the guy from the Fox movies would have been more meaningful and crowd pleasing. Tom Cruise as Iron Man was a cool rumor and you know he would have done it just because he's cool like that, but Marvel is run by retards so oh well here's that elderly retard who ruined Picard.
What could have been a humorous piece of self-awareness is Chris Evans has a cameo but instead of being another version of Steve Rogers, he says, "Flame on!"

I haven't seen the movie, but everything I'm reading makes me think the Multiverse is just a way for them to haphazardly introduce shit without any backstory or explanation.

I cannot fathom how the MCU could introduce the Illuminati featuring Reed Richards and Professor X without it feeling rushed and forced in the same way MCU fanboys complained about Justice League. Even if they do all get killed.

I think they’re basically committing to making the X-men and Fantastic 4 have an extradimensional origin outside the mainline MCU.

It makes sense to a degree, since handwaving it as “lol multiverse” is easier than trying to justify how a very large group of super humans has managed to stay completely hidden from the mainline MCU, though the Fantastic Four could be easily transplanted cuz I dunno if there’s anything in their origin story that REQUIRES it to be set in the 50’s.

But yeah, it absolutely kills one of the big appeals of the MCU, which is that up til now it HAS been very self-contained, and remarkably consistent given its scale. Everything post-Endgame honestly just feels like MCU fan-fiction.

Jesus, why do they play Captain Marvel as the same unlikable, smug, irritating cunt? Is that her character in the comics?
Actually yes, she is. Even when she was Ms. Marvel, she was a bit of a psycho. She got worse when she rebranded as Captain Marvel.
Difference is (have read MHA, not read JJK, so idk if they do the following) is Black Bolt has no control over it, which is quite cool. Literally cannot say anything or make a sound because it will fuck things up. He can't turn it off, only control and hone himself so that he never makes any noise. If anyone remembers that trash Inhumans tv show, I recall they had a moment where he gets hit by a baton and grunts, and that grunt trashes a car that he's facing.
It's kinda different, & kinda similar at the same time. Also, I'd recommend JJK, it's pretty good.
The example I think they’re referring to from JJK does have a similar limitation, that character talks like a Pokémon because actually saying anything comprehensible would automatically activate his powers.

However the power itself isn’t really the same, since it’s not so much concussive sonic waves as it is powerful voice-activated magic that usually takes the form of compulsion (for both living beings and objects).

There is another character in JJK that uses concussive sound waves but it doesn’t come from his voice, so I assume that’s not who they were referring to.
Yes, I am indeed talking about Inumaki. The power is fairly different in effect on the one being used on, but the user is literally, physically hurt from using the ability Inumaki literally starts spitting out blood from using it too much.

Is dr strange 2 worth the 2.5gb to torrent? I haven't went to the cinema or bought a movie in decades, so I ask now before I even try to download a camrip made by an indian in a shitty teather in mumbai with ads for Xbet or some other phising site.

Yeah, that's how much I give a shit about capeshit, which dr strange literally wears a cape.
If you are like me and don't mind spoilers you should wait until there is a good quality rip or until its on Disney+ that way you can watch it in HD. But if you want to watch it asap, just be careful not to download some pajeet virus or something.

If you're not super enthusiastic about the MCU, Dr. Strange is one big skip! It confirmed for me that there's no trace of Marvel fanboy left in my system. I grew up with this stuff. I had long boxes! I felt nothing when I watched this cinematic abortion. It didn't help that they padded the first half hour with pandering to hispanics, random chinese, and negros in the sacred temple. They're just going too heavy on this stuff to ignore now.

If they'd let Raimi make the whole movie instead of stuffing in a bunch of studio mandated stuff, plus Whedon quips, it might have actually been good. The few moments where he was allowed to add some personality were interesting.

Soooooo, what are they building up to here? From the start of Iron Man 1 we knew we were building up to the Infinity Gauntlet storyline with Thanos which culminated In Infinity War and Endgame.

Now what? Who or what are we building up to? Who will be the next overarching protagonist? We Wuz Kangz the Conqueror? Galactus? Dr. Doom? Who?

The MCU has hit past it’s peaking point IMO. It’s downhill from here on out. Nearly everyone I know checked out at Endgame including me.

TBF, they could have won me back if word of mouth was good. If the characterization was still on point, Phase 4 could maintain interest and perhaps even experimentation with the MCU formula.

At this point, I want to hear EFAP make fun of the MCU over watching the MCU.

Bro I'm suprised to even hear this opinion on Kiwifarms. Dude the mauler/efap thread is unhinged

IIRC, Dr. Doom is shown in this movie.

I was convinced that since House of M is such an obvious influence on Scarlet Witch's arc in both Wandavision and Dr. Strange 2 it was going to end with her mindfucking the MCU into bringing the X-Men in. That of course leads to X-Men vs Avengers and Mag-fucking-neato wrecking shit left and right.

But they didn't which leaves Dr. Strange 2 appearing like a very unimportant movie. With that said X-Men are going to be in by 2025 so we'll see what happens. All I know is I'm only interested in Guardians 3, Deadpool 3, and Blade. And the latter two only depends if Disney stops being chickenshit and goes Rated R finally.

I'm utterly bewildered if Patrick Stewart's last appearance as Professor X is just him getting his neck snapped. Glad Hugh Jackman appears to not answer Disney's calls to return as Wolverine.

I enjoyed the movie for the most part (Wow the guy with an MCU avatar liked a Marvel movie. Shocker!) but I think the biggest thing about the movie I didn't like was that we didn't really get a continuance of Baron Mordo's story for the first one. I figured he was still going to be hunting Dr. Strange in this movie, but nope. And if there are plenty of sorcerer's left even after Scarlet Witch killed a bunch of them, I guess he really sucks at killing them.

Three theories:
1. The most likely one, there is no plan. The MCU will just fart out an Avengers film with some comic-based world-ending threat big bad ending with "now things will not be the same" (but not really). Basically it will multiple single hero films with cameos and then Ultron. Until Hollywood goes under.
2. Less likely one, they are building up towards a massive reset button so they can bring up the re-imaginings of popular super heros (ie, niggers and troons) and do the Infinity Gauntlet story line over again.
3. The soybody dream theory. There is build up to a "Disney universe" so that the cameos switch from a feature to a main attraction. Basically, any Disney owned IP will appear in Capeshit because muh alternative universe and people will buy tickets due to nostalgia.

Warning: Self Autismo Tier Sperging.
The only SW x MCU crossover I would want to see would be a WHAT IF The infinity stones all got teleported to the SW galaxy during the Clone Wars era and watching Thanos work out how to attain them using his wit.

He wouldn’t just barge on in especially since the entire galaxy is in a heightened state as it’s in an entire civil war. Thanos would likely stick to the Unknown Regions or Outer Rim and ambush small craft, trying to gain intel on the galaxy and situation. I could see him sending Ebony Maw to Coruscant to the Jedi Temple as some “extragalactic force user diplomatic ambassador” and try to subvert them. Would be neat to see him and Palpatine in a tug of war both trying to manipulate Anakin. The allure of the Infinity Stones would be a powerful tool in Anakins POV to saving Padme.

Oh who am I kidding, of course they wouldn’t do this. It will be REYYYYYY, a random troon , and Captain StickUpHerAss fighting some random goons and owning them cus “SLAY QUEEN YAAASS”/“FEMININE POWER” with a thousand “LOOK AT THIS EASTER EGG” coomer moments. :(
