It depends on how stupid he has been. He has worked steadily, almost continually for the major publishers for the past 25 years. He has some creator owned properties such as Irredeemable and Uncorruptable. So in theory he should have ample resources and assets. Assuming he doesn’t lose them all in a lawsuit. Has any of his creator owned stuff ever been optioned by a film studio?

I am just wondering if we are going to see mad rush to find another job accompanied by DFE, followed by a rapid decline in mental health as his funds run out and he returns to Mother Dearest's LOVING arms? I see another Chris Ryall situation happening. Chris Ryall was the CCO and EiC of IDW, he protected Aubrey Sitterson (another exceptional individual) from getting fired for creating a PR nightmare and pissing off the GI Joe fandom with his insertion of SOCIALIST ideals into the Joe Universe. Didn’t help that he already had low sales as well. Chris Ryall was ordered by superiors to fire Aubrey, instead he planned to have Aubrey work under a pseudonym on another project. Ryall going against orders was fired.

I have no clue why he decided to protectAubrey at the cost of his job, other than the possibility that they are gay lovers or something.

Nope, it’s just that they are SJW’s. Nobody ever holds them accountable for anything thus they have never suffered any actual consequences for their bullshit. Now that it is finally happening they don’t know how to deal with it. Remember they still have no mental concept of consequences. Thus simp,y hiding Sitterson under a fake name seemed a perfectly valid option to Ryall. After all nobody could possibly be serious about consequences of actions. “Everything will be fine once the attention dies down. “ Unfortunately for them Hasbro is not a woke company of SJW clueless creatives.

IDW currently has a massive story arc that ends their long running Transformers shared universe by mid summer. Their Hasbro contract expires in the fall. You may come to your own conclusions from that.

The funniest thing about it was that Aubrey was also ordered to keep quiet, management wanted to let it blow over. (Shockingly) He didn’t take their advise and made a huge stink. Also didn’t help that he had pissed off not just the Joe Fandom but also normies and the CG-spergs and they weren’t going to let it go that easy.

Because this creates a false sense of 'Personal Army' syndrome. Waid thought he was immune because he was this 'big name' and had all these little idols looking up to him. The second he is in legal hot water and out on his ass, they won't lift a finger for him, because he's a fat, old, bald, straight white male. He'll cry and whimper and create a laughable crowd-funding campaign that will fail because he isn't a 19 year old dangerhair camwhore thot with tits. Of course, they'll shower him with messages of 'support' (IE: useless tweets that won't actually do anything) and never act on his behalf while he'll be forced to face the consequences of his actions alone.

These type of people always overestimate the amount of support they have and the second reality delivers them a backhand so hard it knocks their teeth out, they look for their army and find out people on the internet don't actually give a fuck about you and you're left all alone.

Not to mention you were brought down by a man who refused to use a camera and a microphone and constantly coughed into the mic. He outsold your entire fucking company except for a handful of titles. That is the most pathetic fucking shit I have ever heard. And now its likely heard by the fucking CEO because you opened your company up to one of the only laws that can fuck you over.

As far as I know they’re keeping both the Transformers and GI Joe licenses. They’re getting rid of the shared universe from what I’ve heard.

Yep! Management immediately ordered him to shut up, keep the fuck off social media and do nothing to promote anything. Just disappear. He instantly disregarded this and did an interview with Bleeding Cool that made everything much worse.

You can be forgiven for not seeing the Waid connection. But it really is amazing how they all have no ability to learn. On Friday Waid got hauled into EiC Cebulski’s office and ordered to shut down and sterilize all social media, go silent, to do nothing in public to make things worse. By late a Saturday he had spoken to Bleeding Cool and they had an article up that made things much much worse.

It's not just this stuff. It's also referring to cases as arising under Title 15. I do a lot work with statutes in Title 15, like Truth in Lending Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I have never heard of cases arising under the multiple statutes in Title 15, including the Sherman, Clayton, and Robinson-Patman acts as well as the Federal Trade Commission Act and the various statutes making up the Consumer Credit Protection Act all lumped together as Title 15 cases.
