My pits are the only thing I haven't tried it on yet because of how horrendous getting them waxed felt. I feel like it might not be as bad since I've got more control with the epilator, but your warning has made me rethink trying because my armpits are definitely not tight.
Pits are fine, just hold the skin taught and do it bit by bit the first time. Maintenance is much easier, so if you’re worried you could get them waxed and then maintain with the epilator.

Kitchen gadgets.
Housewares is really the least annoying answer, that doesn't make you feel like you have to buy an outfit you're not really into because of the gift card.

There really does come a time in life when you get a gift card and think "oh, I could buy new towels for the whole house." Or replace your silicone spatulas with removable heads for ones that are whole-body silicone so they don't collect water and crud in the cracks.

Ladies, I have officially lost my mind and dyed my grey hair purple.
Months of staring in the mirror not recognising myself (who is this old fucker?) made me have a midlife crisis and dye the hell out of it.
I think it looks amazing but husband keeps calling me dangerhair and sniggering.
Keep dye, lose husband?

I don't give a fuck, I still love those hair colors. If Betsey Johnson did it, so could I.

I have always hated getting someone to do waxing, but doing it myself has been so much better. Get the hard wax, the Brazilian stuff, and a cheap heating pot thing (Amazon sell them) and some baby powder and take your time. It’s SO much less awful than having someone else do it, no idea why, maybe it’s having the sensory feedback, or just not being touched by someone else.
I have very deep rooted very thick hair as well, hurts like a bastard to yank it out, but DIY waxing is far better.
I personally find epilators torturous but perhaps they’ve improved - last one I used was 1990-era. Are they better now?

Doubleposting but asking for forgiveness since it's been a few days

So I finally dropped the weight I'd been aiming for and had to go looking for new pants, the old ones were starting to look ridiculous on me. By accident (or on purpose?) the shopping assistant handed me a pair of men's jeans to try on, and let me tell you- I'm never going back. Giant pockets? Check. Amazing, heavyweight fabric? Check. Comfy as hell? Check. I can't quite express just how different the fabric feels compared to every pair of women's jeans I've owned
I was worried they wouldn't fit well given my very feminine hips but they fit like a glove
I got men's-jeans-pilled and I highly suggest everyone here gives them a try

this goes for just about any kind of pants really. i do it all the time with sweatpants. unless you're doing a specific outfit or don't like baggy clothes, they're better in just about every way. the downside is that they can be really unflattering, but for people who don't like being leered at, that's not really a downside.

This is true, I honestly buy my daughter boys pants for this reason. Women (and young girls) pants tend to be super tight and/or lack pockets. She hates the feeling of being constricted so I get her boy pants. She has zero clue they’re boys but doesn’t complain about being itchy/too tight!

I’m really struggling to find clothes that fit and look nice. Everything is too long, all the shoulders are too broad. Worse, I’m middle aged and everything is either slutty polyester aimed at embryos or granny clothing . The high street shops I’m finding with petite sections are dowdy.
I want nice stuff. I will pay for it. I just want nice, well fitting petite clothing that’s mainly natural fibres. I want to look nice.
Help, my fellow lady kiwis. Give me suggestions of places to shop.
(Based on the old world side of the pond, uk or European shops are both fine.)

Not sure if this is even close to what you're looking for but for the undergarment and basics I HIGHLY recommend Organic Basics :) Me and Mr Nile bought stuff from them on multiple occasions and we were always happy

I've been using this Honey shampoo and conditioner I found at the Asian market... This is the best shampoo I have ever used . I straight up cant stop touching my hair cos it's so soft and silky ... It is a bit expensive but I noticed the refill pouches are a bit cheaper. It smells so freaking good too. I have semi-permanent colored hair and it hasn't stripped out much of the dye so I might stick with it.

This is a no brainer ... I genuinely don't see the issue with dying hair. It doesn't really hurt anyone and I don't think the color of someone's hair has anything to do with who they are as a person. I say keep your hair if you like it.
I love the idea of makeup, but I hate the reality. it smears, if I choose the wrong brand it burns, and it's pricey.

Rock on those Kiwis here who can wear it with ease . My hat is off to you.
You might be allergic to some of the ingredients.. what makeup/brands are you using that is causing the burning?

Have you checked out Muji? (link) It's like Japanese ikea/also sells clothes. I don't know if they are in your region but they are excellent and I have some of their clothes. Extremely comfortable, breathable, and it's not too extra. They have some home essentials too like furniture, shelves, storage containers, etc. For some reason they also sell food and I like their matcha mix. I heard they are planning on expanding to other countries.

Now that's interesting, because I bought that shampoo in Japan and my eczema-prone skin HATED it. Cracked hands, red spots on my face, the works. It does smell heavenly though. Their hair oil works wonders, but you need to make sure not to use too much- about 1/4 of a pump is enough for a single application on my butt-length hair

I can never get my waterline to be black, at most its like light grey. What brands of eyeliner do you use (preferably pencil liners)

Oh my god that's horrible, I hope your skin is feeling better! I have skin problems because of my climate and the extremely hard water, what helped me when my scalp was acting up was using Nizoral on my scalp and shampooing the ends of my hair with a different shampoo and it ended up going away. The hair oil is super nice too.

I use colourpop gel liner and it stays black on my waterline

I actually doubled down and dyed it again, a really vivid purple this time rather than the pale lilac it was.
He actually likes it, the man is an enigma.
