so am I, but I don't wear it a ton myself. I really like it in general though. I figured you were into it, since your name is a reference to a print.
Yeah! I actually just sold this print but I would like to buy it in a different style, it's one of my favorites. Do you *ever* wear it or just admire? I was one of those people who just admired it for years and years before actually buying anything.

I want to buy some at least, for sure! I just sort of haven't yet and other stuff I like keeps taking priority. I really like punk brands like Putumayo and BPN and other cute stuff like that. I also love stuff with sailor collars  and right now I don't have a lot of money in general. For lolita I'll probably get something AATP or BTSSB. Something not too over the top.

Yeah lolita can be expensive and addicting :( at least for me
I am going to be able to go to the Baby store soon! I am really really excited about that. I haven't liked their printed stuff as much recently but the plain dresses are looking good. All my Baby dresses are pretty plain, one is a print but kind of a simple design and the other two are older style/oldschool.
I really need a sailor collar dress.. I have one from Bodyline but I'm not happy with the quality (though their stuff is usually ok) so I never wear it.. Meta does some really nice Sailor stuff every year so I might wait for that. I like the idea of wearing more punk lolita stuff but I'm more of a sweet lolita right now (not necessarily pastel vomit ott but I like that too)
I recently won this dress and I'm so stoked, it's one of my favorite series because it's just so silly lol

image.jpg My Kat Von D lipstick finally came in. It's in the navy blue and I am *in love*.
The only problem I have with it is that its not creamy like other lipsticks that I'm used to. Like, you need to apply it a couple of times before it begins to go on smoothly.
The black lipgloss I got is super sheer so it doesn't do much but add sparkles. But there are so many sparkles *_* I'm keeping it just for that *_*

Plz excuse the messy hair :x

I couldn't decide what color to do my nails so I picked five :3

Pinkie: Sally Hansen "Black Out"
Ring: Sally Hansen "Golden-I"
Middle: China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy"
Index: China Glaze "White on White"
Thumb: China Glaze "For Audrey"

OH MY FUCKING GOD I am in love with FFF. The pic doesn't do it justice. It's a great creamy neon coral. A little streaky (which is my experience with creamier colors/neons) but with three coats it's solid.

I can't deal with long nails since I would compulsively pick at my keratosis pilaris on my arms as a kid and also can't stand getting nasty scrod under my nails during the day.

Ahh I want this dress so badly. To wear to my college graduation specifically. It even has pockets!

Double post, but who's into scented candles? I recently got this candle because it has a cool name and description, though I wonder what it actually smells like. Given, the whole gimmick with this brand of candles is that 1 in 50 has an actual diamond within its wax. I know that statistically 2% is very unlikely to find a diamond, so I may as well enjoy the candle for itself, right? I've never been interested in lottery tickets or gambling, anyway.

I absolutely love scented candles, especially ones for autumn and winter! Lavender is really high up there as well, since it's my favourite scent and flower.

Oh! I got myself some socks and stockings the other day. The raccoon ones kind of reminded me of myself.

I have the same problem with m Kate Von D lipstick. They're so drying and matte that they almost hurt. I know some people swear by them, but I think it's just not the brand for me.Still, I'm glad you like the sparkles.

My sephora stuff came . I used a coupon to get extra free samples.

Samplessss<3 the ammo palette is great <3

I found a way to make the lipstick less icky? I just layer gloss onto it and use a lip balm from Lush underneath it :3

Speaking of Lush, I have a job interview there on Tuesday. (Wish me luck!) And I think you'll all be glad to know that the outfit I put together for the interview is ADORABLE. It's a darkish red top with elbow-length sleeves and a sort of rectangular neckline (I dunno what the actual term is) and a navy blue pleated skirt with little golden buttons as accents. I'll take pics ASAP, because it really is cute as fuck.

I also put together a silly little good luck charm for the interview because I'm a little superstitious, and since I'm wearing it as a necklace I figured I should show you, because it's pretty. :3

It's more of a vivid sparkly red IRL. I dunno, I just feel like I can conquer the world when I put it on, and I need all the confidence I can get. :P Plus it's a cute piece of jewelry!

Finally, I've been super into painting my nails lately. They're really cute right now.

My friend Kei said that she thought a mermaid might paint her nails like this, and I think she's totally right--they have kind of a mermaid-y vibe, don't you think? (And I was able to clean up around them, so that's all good.) I used Sally Hansen stuff for everything--Maximum Shield for the base, InstaDri in Brisk Blue for the middle coat, and Sugar Shimmer in Work Of Tart for the top coat.

Oh, and one last thing. I'm a bit of a bargain hunter, and I managed to put together a hella cute outfit at Hot Topic by scouring the clearance rack and taking advantage of the BOGO sale they had going on.

(Yes, I know I'm pudgy.)

The shorts are actually designed for guys, but they fit super well and they're comfy and cute, so who cares?

I went to the Keith Haring exhibit today (last weekend it's open!) and had a great time. I ended up wearing my new Space Invaders goodies from Black Milk.

Weather was gorgeous so after lunch my boyfriend and I went to the beach.

I really like that polish, @Ancani. What color is it? I don't have something like that in my collection yet.

It's a combination! I used a bright sky blue (InstaDri in Brisk Blue) and a kind of light teal (Sugar Sparkle in Work Of Tart).

Also, I totally dig your outfit. Especially those leggings!

Nice bag, I didn't think i'd find another LVver on a lolcow forum :P

That's a cute skirt. Does it have pleats at the bottom?

I just treated myself to new body jewelry from bodyartforms. I lost a cool nosebone with a gem on it years ago and since I have both sides of my nose done I just went back to my original jewelry. That thing hurt when it got yanked out of my nose. Looking forward to replacing the shitty Claire's earrings that I've been wearing in my non-stretched lobes too.

Looks like I gotta resurrect this thread!

Has anyone ever tried maracuja (passionfruit seed) oil for skincare before? I'm going to try Tarte's version of it out of curiosity, even though I'm happy with my holy grail argan oil.

Never have. I'm rather hesitant to use oil in my skin/hair routine. I know all the things that the believers say but my skin has always been a hair over to the oily side but I never really had acne. I tried oil cleansing for a bit and felt disgusting. I also did the no-shampoo thing for a bit because I'd lost my job and wondered how it would turn out. Everyone told me that there was a period of adjustment but I could have wiped a frying pan on my head and made enough pancakes for the army. I was also very active and I'm willing to bet cooking my hair under a helmet in the summer sun didn't help.

Sorry about you losing your job!

But yeah, as much as I like using oil as a skin moisturizer, I stop at oil cleansing or not shampooing my hair. I know not shampooing is good thing for curly haired people to do, but my hair is merely wavy. I can only go like 2 days without shampooing without feeling uncomfortably grungy. Using oil as a facial moisturizer during dry weather feels phenomenal, though. I layer it with a normal facial moisturizer in the winter for extra moisture.
