I grow applier with every day that passes.

Complete the look with:

I went to Lush yesterday. I got the Prince Charming shower gel and a ton of bath bombs and the Shimmy Shimmy bar *_*
I tried the shower gel and the Dragon Egg bomb today and I smell like a fucking fruit princess I love it *_* I smell really citrus-y and because of the bath bomb I'm covered in little glitter particles <3 my skin is really soft now too :3 the Shimmy Shimmy bar also has tons of glitter so I'm using that religiously :3
Fucking love glittery things *_* 10/10 would bathe with again :3

It's the middle of winter but I'm wearing a summer colored nail polish, called "Touch of Teal." It's a fluorescent teal color. Can't find any picture of nails painted with this color, and my digital camera is too old and shitty to take a good picture of my hands. So this pic will have to do.

I wore the cutest tunic top to my friend's birthday dinner last night! It's a sweater-dress thing with a slouchy turtleneck neckline (I dunno if there's an actual term for it, there probably is). Purple and black striped. Super fuckin' cute.

I wore it with my favorite pair of jeans (dark blue skinnies), and fuck, I felt so adorable. And everyone else loved it too!

I just really love feeling pretty. :heart-full:

Also, Mourning Dove, where did you get that nail polish? It's such a nice shade, I'd love to pick up a bottle!

Perhaps a cowlneck? Everyone knows they're superior to the throat-crushing confines of turtlenecks.

@chimpchan bra shopping is my least favorite kind of shopping. I weigh in at a 32F which aside from stores like Nordstrom/Bloomingdale's/Neiman Marcus most shops don't carry. Chantelle carries my one and only favorite since they managed to get coverage (not too much, not too little) and support just right without it looking like an old lady bullet bra.

I bought some goodies at Ulta yesterday. NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee, Sally Hansen Golden I nail polish since one of my golds completely disappeared a while back, and China Glaze in Turned Up Turquoise (used up over half my bottle years ago before it got chunky and I couldn't thin it and save it) and Flip Flop Fantasy. I also got some pro hair clips since I've been cutting and coloring my own hair for years now and it's about time I use something easier to section off my hair. They'll come in handy when I'm curling my hair or my cosplay wigs too.

My nails went nude for over a week which was weird for me but for the best since I was traveling and at a con. I can't wait to paint them again.

@littlebiscuits the ammo pallette is pretty nifty. I ended up taking it with me on vacation since there's a good balance of funky and "normal" colors.

EDIT: Bought this and this today. :tugboat:

Just bought this online: http://m.sephora.com/product/P286605?skuId=1324326 in celestial black.

I'm thinking of doing a swatch thingy for it since I haven't seen a single one online so far. Would anyone want/care to see that? '-' it'll be a photo/text post on tumblr instead of a video '-'

So I tried a bath bomb for the first time last night (Twilight from Lush, to be specific).

HOLY SHIT WHERE HAVE THESE THINGS BEEN ALL MY LIFE. It had such a pleasant scent and it made my skin feel so lovely and soft, and it just made my bath that much more relaxing. <3

Might have to ask for a few more for my birthday...I'm in love!

THOSE THINGS ARE EPIC! Omfg. My best friend got me one from there that when it dissolved it turned the water sparkly and purple and smelled like flowers. It looked like a space nebula! So cool. I felt like I had stars on my skin all day.

I think that's the one I got! It didn't really make my tub look pretty, but that's just because my tub is oddly shaped and doesn't really distribute anything evenly (including heat, sadly), so I wasn't really expecting it to. But it did have a nice sweet floral scent, and it was purple...

God, I really should just buy a bath bomb already. I acquired a free antique cast-iron tub through one of my previous jobs and brought it to my parents' house. I don't usually take baths (I'm a shower person) but since I've been really pushing myself at the gym lately it's been a godsend to fill it up with nothing but hot water and chuck epsom salt in it.

Those LUSH bombs are so pretty too. Like, they look like honest-to-god candy.

I'm very much a bath person (unless I just have to hose off after a workout or whatever), myself. One of the things I miss most about living in SF was the tub in my apartment--it was a clawfoot tub and it was AWESOME. God, I miss that tub. :(

Oh, and an update on the sewing front: I have my first lesson tomorrow! I'm making a skirt, and the fabric I picked out is super pretty. It's light purple with subtle polka dots (like, only a shade or two darker than the rest of the fabric). I'll be sure to take pics!

Oh! You're learning to sew? That's so cool! Is there any specific reason, or is it just an interesting hobby?

I've always wanted to learn, for a variety of reasons. The big one is that I'm a cosplayer and I wanna be able to make more complex costumes, but I also wanna be able to make cute clothes for myself and be able to repair shit.

My parents got me a really nice sewing machine for Christmas, along with a voucher for lessons. I still can't believe it's really happening!
