Null stated his case very clearly during his appearance on TDS and ascribing alternative motives to it is just kinda stupid. I don't even understand what the logic of the alternate motive is- dick is now not on the internet cool team so josh cuts all ties?

It's was bigger and more exceptional than that. It wasn't all laid out on the stream, but Null has been stewing over a few different events related to The Dick Show:

• Ralph calling Null a pedo on The Dick Show.
• Riley making Null feel unwelcome in The Dick Show Discord.
• Ralph, Riley, and Digibro all meeting up IRL / Riley and Digibro's dumbass diss track.
• Dick continuing to be friendly with Ralph and Digi.

He took the first two events personally and became suspicious that Dick may have tolerated or orchestrated them to get back at him. The third and fourth events he took as confirmation that there was some sort of TDS conspiracy against him, and that tinfoil schizo shit is ultimately what caused his fallout with Dick. Here are some of the posts he's made about it. I'm sure there are more but it's enough to get the gist:

This is how I feel. Riley is a useless, pathetic drug addict who can be disposed of like a used needle. Front him, have him do all the stupid shit, he won't even remember if it was his idea or not, then burn him if the fans turn on him.

The fact that people like him are out in the open and are promoting it shamelessly, AND people are openly associating with him like nothing is wrong is completely fucking insane and I'd go so far as to say that we are well into a cultural crisis that this is allowable.

And I think it's fair to say that Null might actually have some wisdom on the subject matter compared to most people, considering his endeavors with 9Chan and the constant stream of degeneracy he must sift through. His point about the same users being the ones later posting hentai should be sobering to everyone.

I'm not confident I know up from down at this point, so I guess whatever.

Just follow the basic morals that were outlined to everyone 10 or so years prior, before degeneracy started getting a free pass. Even better, look to many of the moral lessons outlined in the Bible, and use your head and science to sift out the rest.

Ask yourself this basic question, is it morally wrong to fuck kids? Yup. Okay, is it wrong to simulate it? Yes. But should it be allowed? Maybe.

Should we socially be encouraging it?

FUCK NO.

And right now people like Dick are, and that should make your skin crawl.

Anime and cartoon styles can be ambiguous, but as soon as you realize the porn is supposed to depict kids, you should be repulsed. If you know it's loli from the start, you're a pedophile. Whether "the button" should be double tapped is something I just don't know. Absolutely, lead is the only sensible solution for pedos who seek out real children, and you'd want to identify them early so they're never allowed that far. I just don't know, though. Many (not all) who think in this warped way are continuing a cycle from their own upbringing. I understand wanting to take a therapeutic approach if at all possible. But what healthy future could await even a truly cured pedo? Who would believe them cured from something so damning? And even if they were a loved one, would you ever really trust them?

As for the broken friendship, I'm not a follower of Dick's content, and I'm partial to Null even without the loli conversation. Dick's always seemed like IBS content to me. I admit I found that circus entertaining for a while, but it got old fast. Now everywhere I look, the best "bands" are breaking up in public, with comparable indignity, but none of the laughs. And it's not that I blame anybody for putting their side of the story out there, but as they say, "It's all so tiresome." The only entertainment I hope to have from this going forward is possibly some further new tracks from MC Jarbo.

As for what I currently do, I will continue onward as long as it remains fun, and as long as it doesn’t negatively impact my plans.

Mulling over this because I can't think of anything truly enjoyable going on right now. On site building and troubleshooting, do you have any technical insights which you could fit into a show? Or do you think it would be too dry even as a side topic? You've definitely talked about the financial backdoor dickery of running the forum, but I'd also be interested in the programming side of things. Even if it couldn't sustain a whole show.

From a Business standpoint yes Null shielding Dick from the farms was the right move. Dick kept fucking with it though so what could Josh do once it passed the threshold. I do not regret standing up for NP2. The problem is he started doing back-and-forths with people on Twitter and that shifted the situation from "there is an active conspiracy to defund Ethan Ralph that will hurt the forum", to "people are fucking with someone who can easily be fucked with". I dunno, it's worth pointing out that conrad has only been on the show a handful of times and isn't anything close to a frequent or notable guest- though admittedly he has been on more in the last few months than all time before combined.
