This is the case with most game devs today. This vid comparing old Bungie to "nu-Bungie" relay shows it. I can tell all the nu-Bungie guys are sheltered faggots.
The Halo 2/3 devs sound like they're taking things seriously. I don't know how to describe the Destiny 2 devs.

Thread tax: If @Null is looking for more games to torment himself with, I can recommend Needy Streamer Overload. The player manages an unstable egirl trying to become the #1 vtumor. Most of the endings have her becoming a lolcow in some way. I know Null hates anime, but I think may enjoy leading a waifu to self destruction.
 
I was very dissapointed by how vomparatively normal Mixtape was. It's well put together, feels.like it has true passion put into it, and isn't overtly degenerate. You have to look into it pretty hard to find the trouble.

I really don't think it deserved the amount of kudos it got, but I think it does deserve to be held as the best in its weight class. I can absolutely imagine hearing about this game again in 10-15 years from reasonable people who played it and really enjoyed it at a young age.
Sucks the game is the creator's AGP wish fulfillment, because if it wasn't for that I think it would probably change my perspective on this side of games.

The moral still stands:
Music will make or break creative works.
An excellent soundtrack will take a okay movie/game to be excellent ittself. Mixtape's benefit is that they lifted already excellent music that many people hold to be nostalgic already, mixed with the nostalgic themes of the plot it did resonate very well. If Mixtape used LIS style soundtracks I think the lasting impression would have been completely different.

Trailers have shit for insulation so both would suck. Considering how often Null complains about the heat and how much electronics he has he might have been better off in Wyoming where he could use the electronics to keep it warm in winter.

@Null needs to play a sportsball game if we want to watch him sneed. I suggest video game golf.

It requires finger dexterity and is the most challenging of sports games. Also because Josh hates golf and would probably pull a DSP style wage quit
