You mentioned two anime games, and a game made by PopCap. To add onto your post, I think Null would enjoy playing Poker Night, as the gameplay is very simple, and the dialogue is very endearing.

iirc, someone (perhaps Null himself, maybe E;R) said that Dispatch is so on rails that you can choose to literally not lift a finger for some missions and just let the clock run out, and it will still put you on track for winnable outcomes and the best ending.
