It's a Chinese solution to a Chinese problem. Q: "how do we ensure that untold masses abide to our rules"; A: "the individual doesn't have to follow the rule, but if he/she doesn't, he/she won't get full access to the system". Paradoxically, the fragmentation of the system is the only way we will be able to preserve a modicum of privacy, and it will be symbolic at best

I was reminded of a old video from lex jewthor, ie: it appeared in my youtube recommended. And this got me thinking, h3h3 was a pioneer at making fun of niggresses eating seafood. keep in mind this video was made 6 to 7 years ago, and he was ahead of the game.
Like say what you want about him being a litigious asshole jewmaxxing the court system, but at least he got the ball rolling on making fun of how blacks eat food.
Keep in mind this is one of the people h3 talked about who's still doing seafood mukbangs called bloveslife.

Okay, but it doesn't matter how hard it would be to remove the age-verification from the kernel when you could just use a different kernel that already exists.

The difference between the UK VPN situation and the California Linux kernel situation is that everyone currently running Linux already has access to a kernel that doesn't have age verification that could replace the kernel in any distro that implements age-verification kernel side. If the UK blocks your access to all sites outside of a list of approved sites, there's nothing you can do about it. California can't block access to the unmodified kernel because every Linux user already has one saved locally, they'd have to go door to door and search every home to make sure no one has an "outdated" Linux kernel hiding on a flash drive somewhere. You could fit everything you needed to modify a new install ISO to install your older kernel into like 30MB tops, including the kernel itself. If there's a way to host the kernel elsewhere without getting it blocked, you could fit it all into a single MMS. Absolute worst case scenario anyone who doesn't already have a local copy of Linux gets fucked, and everyone who already uses Linux just has to not update until someone figures out a bypass (probably the same day the restriction happens).

And all that is still assuming that a South African, a Irish man, and a Canadian all decide to play ball with California in the first place. Much more likely is that they do the same thing Pornhub did and block California, or redirect them to a Californian edition, or just ignore them like most other porn sites do.

I was pleasantly surprised to see there was an episode on Monday that I had missed. I exclusively listen to MATI and any Locals segments on my phone while working. For MATI, I recently switched from Rumble (asscheeks) to Kick (mega-asscheeks) and missed the notification on Monday. I paused a little bit into the Jim Watkins story to say:

I believe this is the podcast at the best it’s ever been. I’ve only ever been a casual lurker/purveyor of Internet goings-on for 15~ years, and there’s a lot of things I wasn’t apart of when they were “hot” or “big”. Hearing these first hand accounts of stuff like 8chan is so endlessly fascinating to me. It’s such a niche little corner of history. The first hand accounts of Null’s life and his relationship to these Internet figures are the best part of the podcast. I’ve been skimming through the Chris-Chan comprehensive history series in my free time and was really floored by the note Null wrote Chris in 2014 after the house fire. I believe it may have been the most generous and gracious thing I’ve heard of in a long time.

To me, and I’m not “glazing” here, Null is something of an incomprehensible figure. I’ve only been listening to MATI weekly for 10~ months, and everytime I think I have him figured out, he’ll throw a curveball my way. It is incomprehensible to me how he maintains the site and makes time for doing 3-5+ hours weekly of the most entertaining podcast I listen to. I guess I wanted to say that I really enjoy hearing about your past life Null. It re-contextualizes a lot of a what I think I know about the Internet.

Anyways, big ups pimp.

As a southerner who fucking LOVES boiled seafood and crab, I'm fucking offended that this nigger isn't dipping the crab meat in hot liquid butter. I dunno what that red slop that woman is dipping the crab meat in but it's fucking gross. Its not even done like bbq shrimp roux, its just slop.....
