Late and gay for posting this here, but scottykfitness (a shitlib fitness influencer) a week ago talked about alex pretti, got made fun of, phonebooked a bunch of people on instagram (because he was a "ex bounty hunter" and because he was called gay) lost a major sponsor of his, people found his old name and turns out he used to sexually harass people at his old job (as a community college security officer)

By the way if it wasn't apparent, he has been brought up before on the farms during the "ebt scare" where he said "if you made fun of people losing ebt, (which includes his brother wesley) you can go fuck yourself."

Racists of the past were able to tell them apart to come up with names for the individual sub-types and were able to do that with the different europeans too instead of lumping them all into "white". The only "they all look the same" excuse would be black people because they never came up with anything for specific subtypes of black, just different variants of it.

Racism has fallen if you can only be racist with the bare minimum stereotype of racism and not truly tap into the racism powers of hyperprofiling shit.

The dude has been using drugs for years now, and instead of admitting that his addiction is the main cause behind his sickness, he pinned all blame on a mysterious and unexplained disease. He scammed $340,944 dollars out of his audience. Also, it's weird as fuck that he has a wife and daughter, but still chooses to be Turkish Tom's roommate.

If you want some proof that he is a whippet addict, check out his Juggalo vids.

In this one, we directly see him using it at around the 2min mark. So we have evidence that he has used it before.

And in this one, he gets so fucked up on whippets around 9:30 in that he forgets where he is.

These videos suck. Especially since Jeet Averageson Neptune is some of them.
I've seen some alright juggalo festival videos and even though the people look messy and smelly I can respect what they're about and that they have this fun festival.

Having said that, imma stop you right there, everyone knows the best video ever taken at a juggalo festival was when worldoftshirts spat on a negro jugallo and almost got beaten to death. I mean why even bother trying to make something better? It' s not possible nigga - the sistine chapel of juggalo festival videos has already been done and everything else is inferior.
 
I'm catching up on the VOD from last friday and have some thoughts on grifting/no one cares.

I used to think that if you only asked for things when you really needed them that people would see that you rarely asked for things and treat your requests as important. Plus it's just the right thing to do, otherwise people we get numb to requests and the majority of resources would go to grifters who ask for money constantly. Unfortunately that's not how it works and the saying "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" is true. This was an extremely bitter pill for me to swallow and to this day I still find it hard to ask for things so I really do empathize.

The reality is everyone is basically in a prisoners dilemma and being honorable is not as profitable as grifting. Not asking for donations constantly might buy good will and produce things like the legal fund but grifting hard like the kino kasino is more consistent and more profitable over all. So you need to settle on a level of grifting that your conscience can tolerate knowing that being honorable is -much like triumphing in your past struggles against evil- is it's own reward.

I do have two ideas to increase donations without really "grifting" per-se.

The first is as @DavidS877 mentioned already is that you could advertise better. In particular I would make a nice digestible (read: low friction) thing that lays out the benefits for donating. I'm plugged in and know it gets you the ability to feature posts and some extra reacts but if there's anything else I'm unaware. My mind goes back to your excellent 5 minute explainer on the fediverse. "Like twitter by email". Boom, got it. So if I were you I would make a short video showing off the benefits + how to donate then put it on the front page next to the donation progress bar.

The second is just that given the perks for subbing to the forum vs. your gumroad IMO the gumroad wins pretty handily. Now I might be missing forum perks (see my previous post) but given the choice I would subscribe to that. I know things need to be separate business-wise but I think the form is a necessary pre-requisite in order to run MATI and the gumroad so I would just look at donations overall in your position.

Finally I know the gumroad isn't back where it was before (yet). I know you were probably hoping everyone who got booted when it got taken down would just come back immediately and they haven't but IMO that's just a function of friction. Just keep plugging away and eventually they'll get off their ass and re-subscribe. Then by the same token they'll be equally lazy in unsubscribing.

Overall things are looking up. It's not as fast as you'd like but you gotta be a Positive Polly. It'd be sad if you gave up on your principals for a short-term boost by grifting. I hope this wasn't too long.

Right now, for example, there's no situation where knowing the difference between types of jeets is worthwhile, but every nerd-ass right-wing "race realist" apology for elite human capital I've ever seen starts with a litany of Wikipedia shit and some version of "If you don't even know the difference, your racism is low IQ and you deserve to lose, loser."
