Do you know what I like about you, despite what people say about you, you are genuinely good person that wants to help people and you'd rather donate the money to a shelter for good doggos rather than get drug into Baldo's bullshit. Why did they work so damn hard to protect Rekieta, this is the kind of shit you’d see them do if a billionaire got caught or a senator, not some schmuck running streams.

This could be simply that the farms is not from Minnesota and Rekieta might be a fuck up alcoholic, but he's a Minnesotan fuck up alcoholic and they aren't going to let a bunch of internet chuckle heads embarrass their town any more than they already have.

Although i understand the reasoning Null just going "sorry guys i lost" would come across as a lot more sympathetic instead of the i don't care anymore spiel. It just doesn't work with the numerous "i will get the footage" exclemations. After all that the "i don't care anymore rings hollow".

Very optimistic about the character of Minnesotans, especially the ones in government. It's a fucked up place, not at all friendly to its locals (on average).

They came in wanting to screw him like any "civilian," then they changed their minds. If we can put a date on the change, maybe it matches some event we know about.

Likely it's because he's related to somebody, and somebody (else) noticed and called off the Code Red. Most Minnesotan explanation.
