I will say it's funny Josh is complaining about tomatoes. The ripe part of the season starts in the south part of the country and moves north through the season. Florida would have been done by June, maybe with a second fall crop. The latest tomatoes would likely be the northern US and southern Canada. So, anything 'fresh' right now is from those regions or from South America.

One of the problems in the US is that people expect year-round produce. Used to be if you wanted tomatoes in December then they came in a can. Now though the magic of shipping produce tens of thousands of miles you can have any item any time of the year. If you want local stuff then you're going to be tied to a growing season. Also the magic of shipping means places no longer grow a mix of items. Areas tend to hyper-focus on the couple crops that grow best in that one area. For instance California grows almost every US tomato, with Florida a distant second. Could you grow them in the rest of the gulf states, probably, but they don't seem to. Arkansas does rice, soy and cotton. Georgia does peanuts. Louisiana does soy, rice and sugarcane.

Null, if you swing by any factories in your area they may have pallets that you can just take, find someone to ask and if they can't okay it they may be able to to ask someone that can.

Shit I think I just figured out the GOP's strategy with Vivek. He is 1000% still in their pocket and everything he is doing is sanctioned at the highest levels. Why do I think that?

He's literally marketing directed at the fucking Indians. He's showing them through his lolcow-esq actions that the Republican Party tolerates and approves their jeet antics.

It's like how Candace Owens is a plant to make dumb conservative niggers think the Republicans are TOTALLY on THEIR side. This is just business as usual in the uniparty, but once you step back and look at the scope of the fuckery it's almost impressive. Much like how that pile of shit and Indians from that Tyler Oliveira's video is impressively disgusting.

What's yall's go-to remedy for cold symptoms/sinus issues? I seem to always get an infection following any slight sniffle
Hot water during the day. Antihistamine and ibuprofen for sinus inflammation, health shot when I'm feeling it (honey, hot water, ginger).
This guy is so fucking wrong so many times.
"Its a bad thing that people don't want to be tracked on the internet and show their faces!"
He then says that drawf lords avatar isn't his real face, then says dwarf Lord refutes that. AND THEN says dwarf Lord agrees it's not him in the pic.

That doesn't really matter when a looot of produce is planted in a greenhouse and then picked right before it's ripe so that it can ripen in a warehouse.

I fell unconscious a while earlier while I had stream on in the background so I missed it but HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE MARIO MUSIC BOX THING

A few years ago I was in a VC with a friend who was showing me it because of how funny high effort it was for as ridiculous of a concept it was, and a few years prior to that I got reccomended a bunch of youtube lets player obnoxious thumbnails of it and I wasn't sure what it was so I never bothered clicking it.

It's an rpgmaker game that's basically a horror game with mario characters slapped into it because reasons. I'm not going to spoil why the troon confusion on stream is INCREDIBLY funny considering the shit that happens in the game in case you ever feel the need to play through it yourself but I'll just link a commentary-less playthrough I found like first result when looking it up.

Me and a few friends had an inside joke for a few years of quoting a part where mario's depressed and you open a drawer that has nothing in it he unironically goes "It's empty, just like my soul" or some shit like that. It was the most hilarious shit because before this all the characters are their regular bing bing yahoo personalities.

I like to envision depressed/scary mario sounding like lou albano mario and the normal mario sounding like the bing bing yahoo mario.

Definitely recency bias becauseI just finished watching Tucker Carlson's interview with the candidate that's running against Trump's endorsement for the next governor of florida, the nigger.

And I think it might play into it a little. But also, I think if you are willing to shill Israel, and certain business intetests that is even more important to them.

Either way, for anyone in florida, I definitely wouldn't want that that guy running the state.

Were there any Trump endorsements recently that were as bad as the jeet, and the nigger? Maybe he picked one decent one that I just didn't hear about, because the others he chose were so bad that's all anyone talked about.

Edit: btw looks like metokur is about to start streaming. He has his intro playing now.

The town i grew up in grew a lot of produce, the major supermarkets shipped it to an interstate distribution centre and back to the one in town, probably works the same in America

You can also do this for busy/large grocery stores, Winco, Costco, probably any extra large Walmart store. I previously worked at a grocery store while in college I would get asked by contractor dudes(usually tile) if they could have our damaged pallets at the back of the store all the time and got the go ahead from the assistant manager to let them.

Dristan is the most powerful OTC med for that. Used sparingly. I avoid benadryl and nyquill at all costs.

I'm going through the old MATI archives and am glad lowercase jersh doesn't take guests any more. Golden cow content though in the old ones

I can't sleep.
I've found Natrol's non-melatonin sleep gummies pretty helpful for getting regular sleep. You can try melatonin too if you haven't already, but I'm pretty sure melatonin is something you take for one-off insomnia, but I can take the non-melatonin Natrol daily and I feel like I'm getting a lot better sleep. Might be placebo effect, idk.

Nowadays I'm commuting regularly down to DC so I need to wake up at like 5:30am to catch the train, so I need to be capable of getting into bed on a schedule and zonking out quickly.

Well, also weed helps a lot, which might not be to your tastes.
Lol I recently bought an old timey striped pajama set like that, complete with hat and puffball.

I feel super cozy sleeping in it.

You may have missed it Marv but Josh opined on stream about how much he loves you and hopes you never leave.

Thanks for that link, anything with a GABA agonist I approve of. Had a script for pregabalin years ago.

I find melatonin sort of evil, it interrupts REM and makes you feel sluggish the next day. Same for most OTC "sleep aids".

Recent research with melatonin has shown that long term use at the doses commonly available (which are many multiple times higher than any recommended dose) fuck with your like circadian rhythm which isn't so much about "omg da sun is out and I'm sleepy" but more about the rest and shit your heart needs and that it fucks with your heart to the extent it quite measurably causes significant heart problems.

So yeah, melatonin once in a while is ok but using it regularly will fuck you over long term.

And anyway, being unable to sleep once in a while or for a few days here and there is totally normal. Not everything needs medication and shit.

Oh I remember something similar to this, in southern Spain in the arid pockets they have these plastic greenhouses that produce food during the winter, I think like 80 - 90 percent of all of europe's winter vegetable stock is grown there. It's becoming a common occurence since its rather cost effective for some areas(although spain cheats because they use a bunch of north african cheap wageslave labor). Fun side note these greenhouse operations are so large it makes the southern tip of spain appear white lol

you'll only see this at the southern most parts of the country because otherwise youll be hit with -35C temps. London right now is around +3C. I have two greenhouses myself here and the weathers been nice for them but I'd never be able to do this out west when January will average around -22C. You could do in an area like Whiskey Gap, aB, it's like +10C there

Theres key notes i forgot to mention as well, apparently the plastic traps the desired rays inside the greenhouse longer which makes the plants grow faster, plus this specific huge operation is only made possible because not only the arid area but because its on a southward slope from the some hills/mountains that hold a lot of water nearby to help keep said operation sustainable and cost effective, so profitable. There were a lot of attempts in the United States for glass greenhouse operations to profit off the lower winter vegetable stock averages but they just weren't feasible for the obvious regulation and monopoly bullshit. Though I'm curious if this plastic greenhouse solution would be doable in a lot of the arid south west of the United States that hold a lot of similar set ups of water intensive aquifiers near dry slopes and consistent arid climate. Man the United States could rape the world economy in every sector but these fucking gay ass horseshit regulations and monopolies just turn us into a bunch of limp dick cucks who have to buy overpriced everything.
