i am unable to fit the radiator in the chassis without removing the small power/usb module first, and the screws on that are stripping as i try to remove them. i can either simply not affix the radiator and get poor airflow or just move everything back to the old chassis. the entire point - and the only thing i wanted to change to begin with - was the chassis, which means that my thesus ship of a computer will literally just be a brand new computer in an old chassis.

yeah been having a really hard time resisting temptation when i've lost 2 pounds a week every week for three quarters of an entire year, thanks for the advice, really helpful, never thought of drinking more water before. you're the first person to suggest this in the last 77980 posts in this thread.
 
I haven't replaced the chassis in over a decade of upgrading components. The water cooler radiator/fan brick is too big to close it so the rig is just permanently open with everything exposed and shit hanging out everywhere. Been like this for years. Runs high end games just fine but if I so much as try to run something as old and simple as Doom it bluescreens within 20 minutes.
 
Have you tried the rubberband trick for the stripped screw(s)? Learned this in woodworking and have used it myself to great success. Get a fat rubberband, put it over the screw, use the same screwdriver and push a little harder. Anything abrasive or sticky works too. You can also dab a little superglue into the head and then take a lighter and heat up the end of your screwdriver to then push it into the screw head to make your own divot (I'd recommend making a flathead divot). If the superglue doesn't hold you can take a piece of solder and reinforce the divot with metal.

If all else fails go on TEMU and buy a $4 screw extractor kit.

For those wondering, we did not dox him. He was interviewed very very briefly in a story about homeless people out front of his apartment building which was brand new, and he shilled it like crazy pretending it was a story about him, which gave us his building, and then he bought his own self-published book and took a photo of his receipt, which had his phone number.

Nathen is the same man who lost his shit over door dash, so there’s no way he wouldmt have made a big deal if anyone actually bothered him. Nathen is just an extreme attention whore who wants to parade as a victim, something he’s done his entire life.

Edit: I think it’s unlikely, but with the insane wealthy he has access to, it’s technically not impossible for Nathen to have hired people to make those 1500 accounts. But he’s pretty stupid and would have definitely bragged about it, which might be this post

Finally my area of expertise, what sort of symptoms you got?

Hauntings are actually one of 6 or 7 different things, so dealing with it means getting an accurate diagnosis to deal with whatever it is. If it's electrical issues limited to just a PC and/or phone and a general feeling of bad luck, it's probably spirits/elementals. They're not actually intelligent like demons or ghosts, they're like animals. The easiest fix is believing that they're actually real, leaving out a small amount of food and water for them on a high counter with the intention that it's for them, and they have 18-24 hours to take what they want from it. Water and crackers are usually enough, but if you eat veggies like celery or carrot sticks, those are fine too. You can eat them yourself later, but the spirits get first dibs, unless you feel like throwing them out. The point is sharing space and acknowledging they exist, and they'll chill out with a small offering.

If tools/keys/important small things are going missing, or moving without you remembering moving them, it's more intelligent, potentially a ghost or more rarely a huldufólk, basically a gnome or house elf. Huldufólk are interdimensional, they can't be caught and you'll have to bargain with something that won't talk to you and is already messing with/probably not liking you. They don't let you see them unless they shapeshift into a local animal(rodents, birds, marsupials), but you can usually leave them food to start getting on their good side. You'll have to feel retarded and talk out loud about what your general grievance is, how you want it to change, and what you're willing to do if it changes, and hope it overhears you throughout the day. Sometimes you can leave notes to them, most won't. Notes overlap with ghosts though, so it's worth a shot. When huldufólk are willing to work with you, it's usually for something trivial, like snacks regularly left out, buttons, screws, coins, beads. If it's a ghost and you're not feeling creeped out regularly, it's a weak one going through the motions of when it was alive but with a lot of the purpose gone, like someone who loses brain cells on nitrous. Usually can't reason with them, just repel them with salt around the house, incense(sage works best) and religious prayers & implements around the house.

Shadow people are offputting but usually harmless. You might see them occasionally and feel creeped out, but they don't usually stick around unless people have been shot in your trailer and you don't know about it. Jinn and demons can mimic the above, but are usually a lot more malicious and obvious with making you feel like shit or scared. Probably not an issue if you aren't complaining about it online. These three things usually don't mess with gamers, because imagination hurts them really badly. If you know you're haunted by one and you imagine kicking the shit out of them, or imagine they're the thing you're killing dozens of in a DOTA2 match, it actually hurts them and they nope out of your life pretty quickly, unless attached to something or someone else.
