Piratesoftware is fascinating. Imagine being convinced that you have never, ever being wrong in your entire life. It's always someone else that's wrong.
This video is terribly long, but well worth the watch. Jason's session with Dr K. He absolutely cannot accept that he's ever been wrong in his life.

@Null Ruger 10/22s are not antique. They've been manufactured for a very long time and they're still being made. They are basically THE go-to semiautomatic .22 LR rifle these days, especially for children new to shooting. They come in many variants including old wood and new plastic, as well as takedown variants. People use them for survival, training, competitions, etc. I love mine. If you really want a cheap target practice rifle you can't do better. Rimfire guns are always unreliable due to the odd stacking of the cartridges so it will train you for malfunction handling too.

You can get in good target practice at a fraction of the cost in terms of ammo. It's also preferable for varmint hunting as it won't obliterate your target, assuming you intend to eat what you're shooting.

This is making me kinda MATI. He has a wife (beautiful, white, out of his league) and child and is humping some asian woman on lifestream who is clearly extremely uncomfortable.

Light recoil = rapid accurate fire.
They're also fantastic for small pest control, some versions can have large capacity magazines, the quieter ammo would be great if the hearing safety act passes for a gun that could then be used to plink and not break noise ordinance (which may apply to you even outside of city limits jurisdiction depending). I don't think any American's arsenal is complete without one, also like was mentioned the cost per round really can't be beat. There's a reason it was used as a trainer for militaries throughout history. Also, if you truly desired, light weight (and light cost) conversion kits exist for a surprisingly large variety of weapons.
