You can buy like 500 rounds for $20 and with a suppressor its incredibly fun. Gets very very dirty though. If you’re into prepping, 22lr can kill nearly anything with proper shot placement so it’s a widely available and inexpensive round to bulk buy and store. Any poorfag could buy 10,000+ rounds and stock them for when things go to shit. Technically you don’t need a semiautomatic but it would make follow up shots easier. A 10/22 is dirt cheap and the Mk IV is a well regarded .22 pistol. Also you can buy a cheapass red dot and they’ll hold zero since it barely recoils.

Low-tier threats in areas where collateral damage is a risk (annoying varmints around/in barns). Fun and useful for general shooting practice. Extremely portable and super easy to grab for unexpected defense scenarios where you don't want to deafen yourself AND lower noise report so less likely to bring attention. Theoretically you can carry an absurd amount of rounds for discouraging fire at weak-willed aggressors. Can make it look like a Fudd rifle so if you are investigated for a self-defense shooting you won't have a scary black rifle.

How It All Got Started​

Some burglars recently entered my garage to pilfer my things. The only weapon nearby was a bag of nickels, which I brandished at the ruffians.

The burglars laughed at me about the slight bag of coins. They did not respect me or fear my purse.
They stole the nickels and my best push broom. I have never felt so humiliated.

That's when I resolved to NEVER be disrespected about my pocketchange again.


Introducing: Thicker Coins​

My new coins have a much meatier handfeel when compared to currency from the U.S. Mint.
The enhanced weight is both satisfying to good guys and threatening to bad guys.

You can see in the photograph above how pathetically thin a regular "nickel" is between my fingers.
The "thnickel" is substantial and solid, there is much more coin per coin.

The giant awesome lake in Thailand that Null was talking about is in the Khao Sok National Forest, I would know, I've been there. You will go on an awesome night walk in the jungle with my main man Pom and his Wife, they are cool and wholesome. You may see a King Cobra hauling ass past you at your little resort, stopping for a moment to look at you, but worry not, they only eat other snakes and are only dangerous when they are molting. Also, the weed in the tourist village is at super-ripoff prices (15$/g).
