@Null The Xorg fork is Xlibre and was forked by Enrico Weigelt. I'm not surprised you haven't heard about it because all the linux publications like phoronix seem to be (IMO intentionally) ignoring it. This has lead to the amusing circumstance with the only coverage being from out of touch main stream press like the register with amazing takes like this in an article about a linux display server (which kinda proves the point).


Enrico is saying that basically freedesktop and wayland proponents are woke and intentionally killing Xorg. The usual suspects say he is incompetent and a chud basically. Anyway Enrico seems based and I'm hoping they succeed in making Xorg great again. Then xfce just needs ignore wayland for Xlibre and artix needs to package it then I'll never have to deal with wayland garbage.
