I never said that, nor did I even think that. Most people get a SFP+ adapter to go from a SFP+ ONT to RJ45, not the other way around. There were other legit reasons why you would do that, such as "they didn't run enough fiber through the house". Do not mistake a question for snark. Not in my case anyway tyvm
