That seems to be a trend with a lot of countries. I think China only has pictures of Mao on their bills.A population of more than 1 billion and the only person of note they have for a bill is Ghandi.

Games are luxuries, they are inherently valueless commodities except for what the customer derives from them. Like jewelry, or high dining, or art. The value of a game is entirely arbitrary, and decided upon by the consumer. With games, the value of a game at purchase is the perceived quality of the game by the customer.what is the gaymer answer to why a video game shouldn't cost more than $60 when Super Mario Bros 3 in 1990 was $50 and Pokemon Blue in 1996 was $30? especially for a nintendo game like Zelda BotW with no mtx, why not let them charge $90?
Thats why they changed the rules years go to fix that.bot battles got boring the moment flipper and spinners became the meta.
everything else sucks and only way for the "other" to win is for the meta bots to somehow break themselves
Lowering the price of your games would increase the number of people who would buy those games leading to a greater cultural impact and potentially a higher profit down the road. Over charging on games because you have a monopoly on the property is the pursuit of short term profits and will hurt the company in the long run.what is the gaymer answer to why a video game shouldn't cost more than $60 when Super Mario Bros 3 in 1990 was $50 and Pokemon Blue in 1996 was $30? especially for a nintendo game like Zelda BotW with no mtx, why not let them charge $90?
Because the cost of manufacturing games was far higher during that era because of cartridges. CD and DVD games dramatically reduced the manufacturing cost for video games. Now that we have digital distribution, there effectively is no manufacturing cost for video games. Coupled with how many full priced games have microtransactions, games should cost less than they did back then.what is the gaymer answer to why a video game shouldn't cost more than $60 when Super Mario Bros 3 in 1990 was $50 and Pokemon Blue in 1996 was $30? especially for a nintendo game like Zelda BotW with no mtx, why not let them charge $90?
The publicized reason for high prices on games back in the day was the production of cartridges, CDs, shipping, basically a return on all the physical investment.what is the gaymer answer to why a video game shouldn't cost more than $60 when Super Mario Bros 3 in 1990 was $50 and Pokemon Blue in 1996 was $30? especially for a nintendo game like Zelda BotW with no mtx, why not let them charge $90?
Because when there's so much money and so many people involved, they want to be as safe and risk-averse as possible; while also leaving plenty of chances to monetize. There's two things that are amazing about the games thing to me. One is how much money a dev like Ubisoft can spend on a game and come out with mediocre garbage that doesn't even look all that amazing.
Game is now product, product must appeal to all.Because when there's so much money and so many people involved, they want to be as safe and risk-averse as possible; while also leaving plenty of chances to monetize.
I wonder how much the same argument as for "why is mod content so high quality for free when the paid DLC from the real developers sucks" applies here: The indie dev can implement features and assets on a whim, on their own time, and leave it at that with no further oversight needed. Or even if there is "further oversight" it's more indie devs in a discord chat instead of some AAA corpo-committee.There's two things that are amazing about the games thing to me. One is how much money a dev like Ubisoft can spend on a game and come out with mediocre garbage that doesn't even look all that amazing. Especially when you compare their budget to indie devs who seem to come up with similar visuals and much better content for a fraction of the price. It really makes me wonder if major devs are just stealing money from the company by paying fake 3d artists or something.
But that which appeals to everyone appeals to no one. So they all flop.Game is now product, product must appeal to all.

I noped the hell outta there once Bullshit Barnes deigned to quote scripture in a vain attempt to go after people lobbing criticism at Crackets. Barnes, you ignorant and illiterate fucking retard. No where in the Bible does it say "be careful what stones you throw lest the uh uh you know don't po- point out the little problem in somebody else's eye if you got a big stick out of your own". That's not even close to the TWO stories from the New Testament that you're combining into one shitty and inappropriate metaphor. The throwing of stones is from John 8. A bunch of Pharisees and educated guys were gonna kill a woman they said was an adulterer. Jesus writes something in dirt, we're never told what it is, looks at all the guys, says "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first", and all the would be killers all leave. It is assumed that whatever Jesus wrote was about them and equal or greater sins that they themselves committed. The stick in the eye is from Mathew 7:3-5.https://youtube.com/watch?v=zrVpTbIFTiMAs always Elissa Clips delivers
