I like putting cilantro on Chinese (usually Sichuan dishes) food. You have to get used to the taste though if you didn't grow up eating it.
 
Once, in Varanasi, I watched a cow amble over to a vegetable stall and start grazing on it, like it was a buffet. The proprietor, a tiny woman, who had put to one side any beliefs that she may have had regarding the inherent sacredness of the bovine race, attempted to ward it off by beating it repeatedly around the head with a brass scale pan.

This is what happens when you give cows an inch in society. You may draw analogies with other demographics if you wish.

Cilantro and tomatoes are both fucking disgusting. Mexicans are inbred manlets with broken taste buds. This is why Mexican food is the shittiest cuisine on earth.

I have lived in like 5 different states in the last ten years and every major grocery chain(sans stuff like walmart, maybe they do but I don't go there for food) has had a section like this. I don't know where you are doing your shopping but my experience has shown me that this kind of cheese display is not at all uncommon. Yes, the wall of cheddar exists, but it is not the exclusive cheese experience, the kind of cheese sections pictured above exist in the same stores simultaneously.

Cosmetically imperfect fruits and vegetables are also routed to canned and frozen food as well as the restaurant trade.

We usually have two cheese sections around here, there is the good cheese by the deli and bakery area, and the blocks of American cheese and "cheddar" by the milk and butter.

One of the stores here sells frozen fruit. You can get the 1 lb bag of good looking fruit for about $5-$6 or a 1 lb bag of just as good, ugly looking fruit for $2-$3. Same vitamins and shit, but looks wonky.

Got a strawberry as big as my palm in one once.

Yeah, Null is in denial. Even the semi-rural Kroger near me has a 20-foot-wide cheese counter with nothing but non-cheddar gourmet and imported cheeses sliced freshly off huge wheels that same day, and the boring American sliced and block cheeses are in a cooler next to the yogurt on the other side of the store. Publix has the same. Even Wal-Mart is starting to carry some non-standard cheeses. He's just obsessed with reinforcing his beliefs even in the face of evidence.

I've been to three whole foods in major cities and only DC had cheese close to a Lidl in Europe.

Mexican food is fucking slop, that's why it's never taken off in Europe and never will. Nobody eats Mexican food willingly when there's real food around that you don't have to drown in hot sauce to be palatable. Amerisharts only eat it so they can have their monthly bowel movement from the fiber in the beans. Coincidentally the resulting bowel movement looks identical to the Mexican food.

Stop eating in shitty Mexican restaurants. If you can't find any good ones, try outside of whatever shithole city you live in. And lets not pretend Americans have high standards either, Slop is the go to for your average American.

And this applies to any other food really. Italian, Greek, Chinese, etc. There are actual good versions of these foods, you just have to find them. Sometimes you have to go to their respective countries for the best versions, but you should be able to find good ones here.
