I work in tech and have to also help out at a sawmill, an auto shop, continually construct new buildings (illegally), plant and fell trees and adjust the landscape with an excavator on my small ranch to stay sane. Could be earning millions if I put the same energy into the tech part.

This is natural. You're an American, living in Europe, but coming home. Its natural for your testosterone levels to rise in anticipation of leaving the soylands of Europe for your home burgerlands.

Hoo boy is someone going to miss Europe, its cost of living and general quality of life.
