I know election shit is the hotness right now but this story was too funny not to share:

Ubisofts brand new BLOCKCHAIN NFT PVP RPG, Champion Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, is currently being rendered unplayable by one especially naughty user. The game is a PVP RPG battler of some kind which allows players to buy NFTs for use within the game using real money. There is no PVE mode. Since November 1st, a single user (going by the name Paulstar111 or Schillari11) has been holding the entire game hostage. Every time another user tries to enter a PVP match, they will be matched with Paulstar/Schillari and will lose the battle before the match ever starts. Paulstar/Schillari is currently sitting atop the leaderboards with 10s of thousands of PVP wins under his belt. While Ubisoft claims the user has been banned, players are still reporting being unable to compete against any other players or win any matches.

It feels like forever since we've had a troll that could bring a game to it's knees. I kinda miss the days of Fansy the Bard or Angwe, the Terror of Menethil Harbor, or Chrae, the guy who shut down Ultima Online by drowning the world in a deluge of slime.

Shit man, I feel old. It makes me sad that people now think of trolling as "you called me a name/disagreed with me on twitter" or "Ruben Sim is unmasking pedophiles in our children's game that we goon off in" instead of fun and inventive shit. Maybe it's just rose tinted glasses on me.
