I don’t see how she can take a plea taking full on responsibility for the coke and not face jail time at all but you could be right there too

If this doesn't make her wake the fuck up when she is forced to get sober, is on parole, watches Nick continue to do blow and drink with his live-in mistress after she took the fall for them and he faced ZERO consequences... If she doesn't snap at that point and murder him or at least divorce the fuck out of him then she truly is the biggest spineless doormat to have ever existed.

She doesn't have to take full responsibility. She can just accept the plea deal, get her light sentence, and that'll free up Nick to throw her under the bus narratively. It's scummy as fuck if that's what Null is thinking Nick will do.

I think she is essentially a beaten dog at this point. She has 5 kids and her husband has been talking about her destroyed body to the Internet for a few years. Her prospects in the dating world are pretty grim and she probably doesn't feel like she has a lot of options at this point.

Nah, she can easily find another man, Aaron was all over her. But I don't think she cares about that at all. She's probably afraid of being the sole caretaker of all their kids while Nick fucks off with April and possibly even fucks her over in the divorce due to his many connections to lawyers and just how manipulative he is. She has lived with him for many years and knows how vindictive he is and he's probably broken her down with his gaslighting to the point she feels entirely powerless.

One person getting and staying clean in a relationship never happens, and people very rarely can stay with someone they did drugs hard with and both got clean.

Kayla's mentioned that she sees herself as worthless (because she stays in bed all day strung out on pills and watches Star Trek The Next Generation) and that Nick is a hero for doing the housekeeping and looking after the kids for her (at some point, he clearly stopped, though) while also being the breadwinner

Nick got a tattoo saying "I will be us" aka she's a bad parent and Nick is carrying them (he tries to play it off as a romantic "I'm here for you no matter what" thing, but it's obvious he's trying to play into her beliefs that she's useless and she's blessed to have Nick). His strategy is to make her feel like she's useless with a ruined body and that only Nick would ever even tolerate her, let alone love her.

I could easily see Nick telling her "I've been strong for us for our whole marriage, now it's your turn to be strong. You have to go to prison for us. It's the only way. If I get locked up then we lose everything." and she'd believe it because she's a mentally ill pill head.

Surely there has to be a point at which she snaps, this all just sounds so much like the lead up to a true crime story.
