If you want a good tasting coffee that doesn’t need milk make cold brew. I used to make cold brew in a Martinelli’s glass jug overnight, then poured thru a folded cheesecloth held between 2 metal colanders in to a glass carafe, before pouring it back in to the Martinelli’s jug for storage. It was fucking delicious. Use a coarse ground dark roast for the best tasting results. The recipe linked below explains the water to coffee ratio, you can make either a drinkable cold brew coffee or a concentrate to dilute later to taste. Cold brew takes all of the bitterness out of coffee, I cannot recommend this method enough.
