The right wing narrative generally treats women as interchangeable in their personal traits and thus can only blame a handful of cliche factors for the disasters this approach is bound to create. If you don’t believe me, take stock of how often political advice gives a one-size fits all solution to problems. It’s almost always the case. “You should have made her respect you more” or “you should find a girl who didn’t go to college” or “welp divorce courts are just biased, sorry man.”

Evo psych has about as much to it as phrenology and Freudianism. I'm not even talking about the tard blogs like Teddy Beale's but even the actual scientists who espouse it, who engage in ass-pulls to a massive extent. It's great at "predicting" things that already happened and pretty shit at actually having any predictive value for things in the future.

This isn't to say human behavior, especially sexual behavior, hasn't been pervasively influenced by evolutionary pressures in the past (after all that is mostly what determined what genes continued to exist), just that as it exists it is nearly useless. Currently, because it's societal pressures that mostly determine behavior, that is to say, memes in their original sense, looking at cultural norms is a lot more likely to get results.

I.e. if you create a society like Japan or modern Western civilization of the last few decades, you'll end up with lowered reproduction rates.

But let's assume the breeding vessel thing is true, as stupid as it is. Women only exist for the purposes of reproduction. If that's so, then obviously the breeding vessels should be limited to the top males, not repulsive genetic garbage like incels. In fact, incels themselves have no reason to exist, so we should probably do like we do with livestock and kill off most of the males shortly after birth as soon as they demonstrate unfitness for reproduction, and give the females to the fit, superior men.

I've also had the experience of encountering many young women who eschew birth control (meaning, preventative measures) and consider plan b options and abortion as a preferable birth control method - bc they think that tracking temps or charting days or whatever will do the trick (that's a fine option if you are in a situation where becoming pregnant is OK even if not intended). A lot of these women are under-educated and ingest too much online "omg birth control is so hazardous/ inconvenient/ onerous" bullshit.

Personally, as a woman [who no longer has pregnancy concerns], I view birth control (particularly birth control that women control) as essential. And I preach about it when it seems potentially useful. It's an element of basic responsibility and hygiene if you are sexually active and able to become pregnant.

@Lidl Drip, I think/want to think that women don't consider abortion as a bc method. That's terrible and, in most places/situations, completely unnecessary. MOST (by far) women do NOT take this view. But I've been stunned hearing young women in the last 8ish years say and act differently. And I mean both women who grew up in cultures that have been/are somewhat blasé about abortion, and women who grew up with every advantage, education, culture, etc., which usually mitigates against being casual or negligent about basic heath stuff.

And idk if it's even relevant to the discussion, but anyone pushing a moral, ethical, or cultural argument against women being on birth control that they control is absolutely culpable for unwanted or unsupported/unsupportable babies.
