Thank you for keeping updated on Chantal, that video with her driving ATV made me laugh like a maniac.
On this note I'm saddened to see the reluctance to give any in-depth updates on Ralph. He is a gift that keeps on giving.

Ultimately, to save time I recommend: Marge vs. The Monorail and Lisa Goes Gaga. But if you ever decide to watch more:

For the best, and to gain an understanding of the characters, watch:
And Maggie Makes Three
Last Exit to Springfield
Marge vs. the Monorail
Kamp Krusty

For the best:
Homer's Enemy (only after watching a few episodes to understand exactly why what happens in this episode is funny)
Lemon of Troy
The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show
You Only Move Twice

For the worst of the worst, watch:
Lisa Goes Gaga (the Lady Gaga episode, by far the worst episode of the series)
Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy
Co-Dependent's Day
The Boys of Bummer (This is Homer's Enemy but done wrong)

and here's some of the most soulless episodes beyond the Lady Gaga shilling one:
The Musk Who Fell to Earth (Elon Musk shilling)
Every Man's Dream
The Drag Queen episode
I'm not as familiar with titles but are any of these a Sideshow Bob episode?

I always remember enjoying those. Watch a sideshow Bob episode, Josh.

Oh! And a treehouse of horror episode or three. Especially the toaster one.

If it's going to be Sideshow Bob ep, I nominate Cape Feare.

In this post I was recommending The Talos Principle for a BAVG playthrough, however now that I have fully completed the main story and got the tower ending I have to say that this was a bad recommendation. It's a fantastic recommendation for it's story, the cached texts, the time capsules, the discussions with Milton, that would've been a perfect fit for the stream.

However to reach either of the two main endings you will have to complete all three worlds, and the issue is that by World C I was basically relying on tutorials because the puzzles got way too difficult for me to bother, I just wanted to get to the ending by that point, not to mention that the previous worlds can also be very difficult, and that would completely fuck over all the prospects of a good stream, because more time would be wasted on trying to go forward with the puzzles and not on the actual story.

Which is a shame because it really is a fantastic story that is completely overshadowed by the steep difficulty curve of the puzzles, which Null would definitely have problems with.

Man even raz0rfist now is commenting on how dumb complaint culture has gotten.

anyway, article for you to have fun with on friday:

2023, year of the total retard war!

Season 9 was good, but the beginning of the end. 3-8ish were excellent. There's good stuff afterwards but it gets more and more hit and miss until it turns into total drivel. I hear on /tv/ that there are SOME good episodes in the recent years, but I have not bothered to check.
The Simpsons was never the same after Phil Hartman died.
Watch "Bart on the Road" from season 7. It's a classic.
That's my favourite episode of all time. DankPods make a tribute to this episode that's an absolute banger.

As for the list of Best. Episodes. Ever. ... some perfectly cromulent suggestions, but I'd like to add "Mother Simpson" to the list. It kinda explains why Homer is the way his is, though the end credits scene is nearly as tough to watch as the final scene of "Jurassic Bark".

Watch homers enemy. Emplemon talked about it but culturally it’s probably the most significant simpsons episode and the numbers show the series changed after it.
Yeah, but that episode is significant because its meta commentary on the seasons before it. Not sure if it’ll have the same effect on someone if it’s their 1st episode.

How is it possible, in the year of our lord 1990+, as an American, with an Internet connection and a television, to not ever have seen any episode of The Simpsons? Under a rock would be an understatement here.

That Episode is fucking Overrated, watch anything from the first ten seasons before that shit.

I was just catching up on the latest episode of MATI and I couldn't help but chuckle when Null talked about Ralph intrusting his enemy with his mother's ashes and using them as chocolate milk mix. Little references like this give me a comfy feeling of nostalgia.

some of us didn't have cable, the show was nearly a decade old before some of us were born, and according to what a lot of people have said at the point you'd be able to get it would you even want to watch it?

besides prior to disney plus it wasn't really streaming in the "normie" spots so unless you were in to buying the dvds or pirating it wasn't as accessible a show. Not sure how they determine reruns but would they even dare rerun a season 1-10 episode in the modern day?

Firstly I have not seen that Dankmus and I am in tears. You have embiggened my evening.

Secondly, same with Mother Simpson. Every time.

Fox was broadcast, not cable.

They say comedy ages poorly and I tend to agree but I also agree with the popular sentiment that those few seasons of Simpsons (people saying 3-9 in this thread?) were definitely some of the best tv of the television age. Dunno if it's worth a rewatch, I've never bothered.

It occured to me while sneedposting in chat that I have never watched a single episode of the simpsons. I am considering doing gumroad where I just watch the most recent episode from season 48 or whatever the fuck and then maybe also one from the very early seasons. like look up whatever the highest rated episode is and watch that, or do a fan favorite.
Watch Simpsons until season 11. Find a pirate streaming site (with privacy badger, ublock origin, decentraleyes browser extensions, etc), start from season 1 episode 1, and go to season 11. I watched Simpsons during meals for multiple months to make it easier. You don't need to watch recent episodes. Don't do that to yourself.

I would recommend Homer Badman. It surprisingly relates to your situation, a fat man getting cancelled for a misunderstanding and the media running with it.
And Season 11, episode 5 for obvious reasons.

A television antenna gives free television. You buy them once and get at least 10 watchable channels OTA. It's ok to be a poorfag, it's not ok to be an unintelligent poorfag--because then you'd just be a nigger.
