I m gonna say short walking simulator horror games or a game that has a story that you can make fun off and laugh at.

I think you should do twitch.

Some of the Telltale games (and others like them) might be good. Pretty old now but the format would lend itself to getting chat involved when it comes to making choices, and the games themselves are breezes to play so you can interact with chat with ease.

I wouldn’t tune into regular weekly streams of the same game.
The old format of picking and playing through games that were unintentionally funny was pretty good. Many vods of Dota over and over just wouldn’t produce the same quality khantent.

I'd definitely go for narrative games before anything else, long map games/competitive games will largely only draw in the crowd for those individual games. Good ones to look at are: David Cage games (Indigo Prophecy, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain), Supermassive Games' Dark Pictures Anthology series/their best game - Until Dawn/their newest game - The Quarry, you can also go full walking sim with any of the Telltale games.

So bad their good games like Rogue Warrior (entirely due to how insanely over the top the voice lines/end credit song are for what was supposed to be an otherwise mechanically unremarkable 1.5-2 hour game), Deadly Premonition, etc are great stream fodder. If you want a bit of short community interaction, you can also have things like Gang Beasts, Human: Fall Flat, the Worms games, or any of the various mini golf games, like Golf It! or Golf With Your Friends, that maintain a surprising amount of popularity (versus mode on L4D2 still works too, last I saw). (Edit: boardgames are also pretty popular for community nights, Tabletop Simulator provides a platform for card games like Poker/Secret Hitler or you can try out the newer online version of Risk or the popular new online version of Settlers of Catan) Lastly, platforming puzzle games like Portal, It Takes Two (if you can find a partner), or Stray seem to do well.

Miscellaneous games that I've seen appear on various streams that seemed to receive positive receptions include A Plague Tale: Innocence, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and the Destroy All Humans remake. If you glance through some of the older Gaming Garbage streams, plenty of those games fall into the so bad it's good/entertainingly bad categories, unfortunately, Lowtax lacked the ability to improv and having Shmorky's voice really just made a lot of those streams their own special hell to listen to.

Of course, if you ever get a vr headset, there's always modern classics like Gorilla Tag - a game that lets you play as an infected monkey in a warm and welcoming community.

I second the notion of Alien: Isolation, or any similar horror game for that matter.
Amnesia Dark Descent or Machine for Ralphs could be great.
Play Minecraft
A challenging modpack with an interesting element to it could be great fun.
A quest system or something to engage with and solve.
Josh doing a cover version of "Mine Diamonds" as a donation goal would be excellent.

I'd day horror games probably because they would definitely be entertaining, Mortuary's Assistant just came out and I think it would be funny to watch your reaction to preparing dead bodies for burial, plus its scary to boot. I wouldn't want to watch LoL or Dota because I would have no idea what's happening and those games are hard to follow if you don't play them. I would just aim for once every two weeks unless you're going to be consistent, or maybe even once a month. Harder to get into a schedule but less work. Either way I await the offering.

Just play whatever pedo/SJW game Peetz is playing for the LOLs. But I also vote 2 hour streams, anything longer requires the audience to be NEETs and/or have autism.

I'd also like to agree that it's fun watching other people play horror games. It's a lot more entertaining than watching other games because there's also the mutual feeling of fear and suspense - it's a shared thrill between player and audience.

It's kinda how horror movies are more fun to watch in a group rather than by yourself.

So play something scary so we can all get emotionally invested in the game along with you 😊

I'm not sure horror games would work with Null. I don't think he'd be willing to show when he gets scared, nevermind that I don't think he is very susceptible to this kind of game anyway. And if someone just plays the game and lmao's @ it, horrorgames usually aren't that fun to watch.

But I don't have much better suggestions since I'm entering the "videogames are gay and for children" stage of my life. :(

I've not played either but the 2nd is spoiled for me because I watched PDP play it.
I’d like to see a last of us play through because you’ve told that story about playing with your cousins and quietly watching everyone eat the meat. Maybe for episode 1 and 2 you go with audience choice then for 3 and 4 you take control?

Other than that I agree with the shorter streams but maybe only 2-3 times a week. I would also prefer variety in terms of games. I don’t know what your mmr is in dota but I imagine it’s around 2k and at that level the gameplay isn’t interesting and you’ll just be playing with angry Slavs so I don’t see it being fun to watch. I think one day of a game you like, and 1-2 days of a game or games voted in by viewers is more than balanced. To get started just hold a poll for genres rather than specific games.

I really liked Disco Elysium. It's a weird detective story written by communists but you can be a racist if you want. Not much actual gameplay and the story just sort of progresses as long as you can find clues in a dumpster and not have a heart attack.

Hard to top the Life is Strange games. Yelling at the characters nonsense decisions will never not be funny. Maybe Peetz could give you some recommendations.
