I was listening to yesterday's MATI while playing vidya and had the exact same reaction as Null when they got to the allegations. Had to rewind and fully pay attention. What the fuck man, it feels like if it's remotely true (and I'm inclined to believe it), it's gonna escape his, for lack of a better word, sektur.
Oh and I died in my game trying to rewind the stream

I liked both as a kid, no clue how the serious one would hold up in current year. satam gave a lot of youtube poop/shitpost fodder though. Always found it a little weird how in the DiC sonic things tails was basically just some kid and he did fucking NOTHING in Satam despite satam coming out during the time the games were like "yeah sonic and tails are doing shit again" because tails was still new and framed as kinda the autistic mechanic luigi to sonic's mario.

No I mean society has been on a stagnant loop since 2016. Go anywhere online and they're still all just talking about the same shit with slightly different labels being framed as if it's new. Like one big example is how the "cultural appropriation" shit is coming back into play but it's now well off black "influencers" calling everything that instead of white girls on tumblr. Same script, just being parroted by people a decade after the initial push. People have been psyopped into just looping like this forever.

EDIT: It's also getting more retarded each time the echo loops. Like we're at the point where "i'm getting" in a sentence is framed as an AAVE thing and not allowed for white people and "nega" is somehow the equivalent of nigger despite nega sounding like nigga which isn't the same context as nigger.

This is a specific issue that doesn't indicate that we're stuck in a cycle. In fact, a lot of that cultural appropriation discourse isn't coming from black people sperging about "muh AAVE", it's from diasporoids (usually Asian Americans) endlessly moaning about non-issues on twitter because they have to act like they're victims of racism. This is where food nationalism came from because these people literally don't have any actual problems so they have to make up ones. They quite literally declared war on cultural fusion restaurants and tried to determine who can and can't make certain foods because in order to be against racism you have to be for segregation :story:
If you look beyond retarded online discourse you'll quickly realize that 2016 and 2026 are still different culturally. I won't deny the fact that nothing new is under the sun but 2026 has a lot more in common with 2014 than 2016.

The asian thing is an extension of the thing I'm talking about. years ago it would be tumblr people saying that shit and actual asians laughing at them. It's just a distorted echo of what already was going on. the only 'differences" are how intensely retarded the echoes are getting.
