They tried it in America since they started bringing manga over way back and it always failed.
A few small American publishers tried putting out trade-paperback-sized and -priced anthologies of shorts around the turn of the century.

I can see the Monkeysuit ones from my desk, so I remember those. Very good compared to the post-Crisis/Secret Wars era big name stuff.

None of them sold for shit, and they're not collector's items now even though they're rare. Dead medium (with Japanese exceptions).

JOOSH'S LIFE JUST GOT A LITTLE WORSE.

The 70s and 80s sci-fi was big for this. I've got a ton of Asimov's science fiction and fantasy magazine, Analog magazine, and Fantasy magazine left over from inheritance.

Excellent taste. System Shock Remake, while it did add blacks, was pretty faithful in my opinion and has a lot of soul to it. Its soundtrack is up around the top for me.
If you played and enjoyed Half Life you'd like the new system shock. The original is a hassle to understand how to play but really worth it if you've played DOS games before.
This track is a remaster adaptation of the originals intro:

It makes very creative use of the General Midi soundfont. Pre-MP3 game musicians were half programmers and made some seriously creative use of the sound hardware available to them. Tracker music in general is its own niche genre for the soul alone. As far as current day works, Stevia Sphere's "Software Piracy" album captures it best in my opinion.
The game's depiction of AI obviously takes significant inspiration from Asimov's works, but I think they may have been the first to depict AI as almost like a demon.

Why did you have to praise Claude in public Josh? This is your fucking fault, you Internet nigger.
To be honest, this is for the best. I want pentagon miggers to start using Grok so that they can fail spectacularly and embarass themselves worldwide. Infinitely better than effectively spying on US citizens.

Question for Josh about Tartarus. You mentioned 4chan and the Sharty are uninterested. Are they uninterested in using Tartarus for their DDoS mitigation, or are they uninterested in helping develop the tool itself?

They don't seem interested in even using the captcha even though it would save us money to pool in for spur together through the nonprofit.

I'm baffled that you're offering them a free tool they can use to circumvent an expensive service and they just don't care.

Yet they will consoom everything from tech monoliths that want them raped and replaced, oh well gotta own that austistic slobberdog guy because a turncoat cripple furry imageboard owner said he was bad actually.
