Scott has a bit on an unorthodox manner of speaking and his takes on the show were interesting. It might actually have something to do with his training as a hypnotist. I'd watch the show on-and-off. Post-election I stopped watching him for a bit, because he'd always just have the pro-Trump take and I had gotten really gotten politics/ Trump fatigue.
After he spoke about his cancer diagnosis I started watching again. Before my break the locals chat wasn't that active and he had actually responded to my chats many times, but that chat was going like a bullet train when I came back.
I'd say his greatest work is "How to fail at almost everything and still win big". It's a fantastic book with great life advice and I honestly recommend it to everyone. I have the first edition in audio format with him as the narrator as well as the paperback version.
In general, what I like about Scott is he's an optimist. The way he beat spasmodic dysphonia was interesting and he seemed to be pretty cheerful despite being in great pain from the cancer.
I haven't watched any of the Scott Adams school episodes, but I intend to give them a go.
Since you're a learned man: why was his brother being a fag about it when we have video evidence of Scott himself saying he'd be cool with it?
That's a good question. He had mentioned his former wife Shelly and his step kids in his books, but the only thing I remember about his brother is that after he got stuck in a snowstorm in New York he sold his car to his sister in exchange for a one way ticket to California. His brother had moved to California before that and Scott had crashed on his couch when he moved there. I don't know if they were close, but I'd assume so, since they were both living in the same city.
I'll try to check if Shelly said anything about the AI stuff. Scott's take on the AI stuff seems to be pretty clear to me, I guess the brother is just grieving.
