Even Thomas Sowell (who is certainly no excuse-maker) has written about how bad Africa's geography is economic factors. For one example I remember off the top of my chips, the Mississippi river you can ride all the way down from America's north to the gulf. Conversely every major African river has a falls along its route.

Why does this matter? Imagine you have a load of goods to get from one place to another. Now you can pick it up and carry it by either your own hands or with pack animals. Which will be slow, exhausting, and have a weight limit. Or you can put it on a boat, where you can transport a lot more weight a lot quicker. Unless somewhere along the way, you have to stop, get out of the boat, and move it and all your goods by land (like if you encounter a falls, the water transport equivalent of a barricade) and then get back into the water. If you have to do that very many times, you're not going to be able to transport as much as you could otherwise and lose all the advantages of water transport.

Here's a little something more interesting. I went looking for the video that was reading from the Thomas Sowell book all this info was in, and it was called "Facts about Africa's Geography never taught in school | Thomas Sowell."

That video has apparently vanished from YouTube. The only record of it now are some reaction channels reacting to it. Instead if you do a search for it, you'll get that "RealLifeLore" video at the top of the feed. A nebula backed channel.

Interesting.........
Except it is easy to overlook just how large the African continent is relative to the United States.

Are they soft or hard style cookies
I’ll have to make gingerbread cookies again. I made them like chocolate chip cookies and were a little soft.
They tasted awesome
They were graham crackers. Nvm

First off, your pictures are excellent and I agree that Kiwi cards would be a fun thing (maybe have like holiday picture packs so you don’t have to worry about printing & shipping)

Secondly:
The main thing keeping me from dedicating myself to making my own cheese is that you have to keep livestock pregnant to get milk and I don't want to dispose of unwanted offspring. It's just not in me. Not my thing.
You don’t have to keep them pregnant that often, as long as you milk consistently (like, twice a day I think) you can keep them producing for a few years before the next pregnancy. You can even buy goats that’re already producing, assuming you can find them. The pregnancy is unavoidable, but you can always humanely get rid of the offspring by selling them. Keeping about 3 goats to a half-acre is common, so you could reasonably have two females and their kids on a half-acre then sell the kids off. Sounds sad, and it is, but if the kids aren’t going for slaughter then it‘s the best outcome you can get.

Or, maybe get in contact with a local goat farm? Might be more expensive than owning your own, but the prices may make sense if you‘d rather not/can‘t deal with livestock
(I‘ve been tapped out of the streams for the last while, so I don’t remember your current living situation).

I very much thought it was AI at first. Good job man, I had no idea you were so skilled at both the cooking and the framing for the photos. Looks professionally done. You could shut off the site and be a food photographer freelancer.

What camera are you using?
